Wednesday hits us with a heavy, 11-game slate, so expect more selections to come out as the day goes on. With few projections coming early today, it’s good to see most of the Brooklyn Nets already available, but with other potentially high-scoring affairs like 76ers-Lakers, Suns-Timberwolves, and Pacers-Kings yet to be posted, don’t feel inclined to force a bet with what the site currently has to offer. Waiting to combine a player from those other games with Kevin Durant’s 27.5 point over will give you better odds than settling with other players in tough matchups or even worse, betting on rebounds. Luckily, we have plenty to work with and there’s definitely some profitable options currently on the board.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, March 1.

James Harden OVER 22.5 Points – Assists, Pts+Rebs+Asts, Fantasy Score, doesn’t matter which one is clicked. Hit the over. The Lakers have been underwhelming most of the season, but like every basketball team ever, they do happen to have good nights once in a while. Not like those nights help the defense any, which is exactly what makes betting on James Harden tonight so worthwhile. If Los Angeles comes out struggling, Harden is going to have no problem dissecting the defense as it is. If the Lakers come out shooting and actually hitting, the offense falls back into Harden and Joel Embiid’s lap. Either way, usage should be high for all three superstars tonight, including LeBron James. For what it’s worth, Harden’s Fantasy Score is currently at 48.5 points, which he’s only surpassed in half of his last 10 games.
Rudy Gobert OVER 35.5 Fantasy Score – The Celtics defense has been what’s fueled their mid-to-late season momentum swing, but they aren’t invulnerable. If you can’t confidently close out a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, just beyond the peak of the best basketball Boston has played all season, facing Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell are going to cause problems. Instead of just focusing on offense tonight, betting on his fantasy score will allow you to capitalize on every bit of action Gobert is going to see. Jayson Tatum has been shooting the ball incredibly well lately, but the Celtics as a whole, even including Tatum, prefer to get closer to the rim to initiate the offense. Gobert shouldn’t be able to completely contain Boston’s attack, but he will be in the position to get a solid share of blocks, rebounds, and easy put-backs tonight.
Jalen Brunson OVER 5.5 Assists – Spencer Dinwiddie is another great option here as long as Luka Doncic is out. The offense shifts entirely to a more team-oriented approach and the Mavericks are going to rely on Dinwiddie and Jalen Brunson’s late-game offense. Brunson has already made it clear his importance and role in this team, and it shouldn’t be a surprise that his name is listed here. It’s easy to assume Brunson’s and Dinwiddie’s overs will be the center of attention for a lot of bettors tonight, and the Rockets have been a dumpster fire nearly all season. Targeting their backcourt is an easy decision.
Other Recommendations –Spencer Dinwiddie OVER 32.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts, Kevin Porter Jr. UNDER 13.5 Points, LeBron James OVER 6.0 Assists, Devin Booker OVER 44.0 Fantasy Score
