The 2023-2024 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power or flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, January 31.
Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks
Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day, as other props may be added during the day.
Ayo Dosunmu OVER 13.5 Points - Zach LaVine's injury is a blessing in disguise for the Chicago Bulls. Without LaVine in the lineup, Ayo Dosumnu and Coby White have more time to shine. In his last five games, Dosunmu averaged 16.6 points. The Charlotte Hornets host the Bulls on Wednesday night. Coming in with the worst defense in the league, unsurprisingly, Charlotte provides no resistance. I envision Dosunmo covering the over on 13.5 points.
Franz Wagner OVER 18.5 Points - On the heels of a 21-point performance vs. the Dallas Mavericks, Franz Wagner's recent consistent three-point shooting stroke is paying off dividends. In his last five outings, the German native converted 41.9 percent of his three-point shots on six attempts per game. And while the Mavericks are from a defensive juggernaut, the San Antonio Spurs play as solid on defense as the Looney Tunes without Michael Jordan's "secret stuff," to put it nicely.

Wagner continues to build on his offense, and in light of the recent shooting touch, I see Wagner hitting the over on 18.5 points.
Nikola Vucevic UNDER 0.5 Steals - Bulls center Nikola Vucevic doesn't register as a valid option when you think of defensive centers. For as good as he is on the boards, Vucevic typically doesn't stop his assignment from getting theirs. Admittedly, obtaining steals doesn't always come from playing good defense, and at times is a lucky stat. With that said, I see Vucevic going under the 0.5 steal mark.
Rudy Gobert UNDER 13.5 Rebounds - I believe that Rudy Gobert is the top candidate for the Defensive Player of the Year award. Aside from the individual statistics of 12.5 rebounds and two blocks per game, his team is the best defense in the league. I typically don't project Gobert to go under in any defensive prop.
Lowest DRTG by a Western Conference player this season:

108.4 — Naz Reid

However, the Mavericks won't have Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving for Wednesday's matchup, and considering the lack of competition, I see the Minnesota Timberwolves' center coming out of the game early. Look for Gobert to go under the 13.5 rebounds line.
