The 2023-2024 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, December 6.
Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks
Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day, as other props may be added during the day.
Franz Wagner OVER 20.5 Points - I'm at the point where if I see Franz Wagner props, I take the over without question. Wagner scored 20+ points seven times in the past 12 games. Wagner might be the only player on Basketball Reference without a nickname listed. Soon, though, someone will have to give him one, as he's torched the league with his three-point shooting.
In his last five games, the no-nickname-having Wagner averaged 47 percent from deep on 21 attempts. Although the Orlando Magic are playing the ninth-rank defensive rating Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, expect more than 20.5 points for Wagner, as he's found his three-point shot. Slam the over, and if he covers, I'll think of a nickname for Wagner.
Mikal Bridges OVER 24.5 Points - The last time the Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks faced each other, the two teams combined for an eye-popping 292 points in an overtime finish. Nets wing Mikal Bridges scored 45 points, putting forth a valiant 14 points in the fourth quarter. Defense doesn't exist when these two squads meet, so plan accordingly. Look for Bridges to exceed the 24.5 points line.
Trae Young OVER 38.5 Points+Assists - As mentioned for the previous prop bet, the Hawks-Nets contest will go the distance. Trae Young combined for 52 points and assists in his lasting outing vs. the Nets. Over Young's last 10 games, he's averaged a combined 38 points and assists, which falls under the 38.5 line. However, as mentioned ad nauseam, don't expect much defense played in the Hawks-Nets matchup. Push the over and thank me later.
Nikola Jokic OVER 9.5 Assists - The Denver Nuggets are 11-2 against the Los Angeles Clippers for the past four seasons. It's clear: the Nuggets own the Clippers. In the last 13 games vs. the Clippers, Jokic recorded double-digit assists three times. Although history indicates that Jokic turns on the jets regarding scoring the ball when matched up against the pesky but no-problem Clippers, betting the under on Jokic makes for a foolish bet. Take the over on 9.5 assists, and don't look back, as Jokic has yet to disappoint me this season.
