The 2023-2024 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power or flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, December 13.
Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks
Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day, as other props may be added during the day.
Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 17.5 Rebounds+Assists - Wednesday's contest between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Indiana Pacers is the first matchup since the two teams battled in the In-Season Tournament semi-finals. Don't assume the 2021 NBA Finals MVP will fall back from displaying a competitive edge despite Giannis Antetokounmpo's happy-go-lucky social media post following the Bucks' elimination from the In-Season Tournament.
Shockingly, Antetokounmpo produced a disappointing stat line from a rebound and assists standpoint, finishing with 10 and two, respectively. Aside from the aforementioned In-Season Tournament performance, Antetokounmpo's previous five outings eclipsed Wednesday's 17.5 rebounds-assists line. Considering the jet-fueled pace the Indiana Pacers make you play and the aforementioned In-Season Tournament results, expect the two-time MVP to cover the over.
Jaren Jackson Jr. OVER 1.5 Blocks - Jaren Jackson Jr. appeared in Monday's edition of DFS prop picks and didn't disappoint as he covered the over on 1.5 blocks. Wednesday sees the Memphis Grizzlies pitted against the surprisingly decent Houston Rockets. The matchup of the night is between the two starting centers: Jackson Jr. and Alperen Sengun. I'm unsure who will win the battle, but I can see them dominating the spotlight as the two teams haven't captured the national audience.

Take the over on 1.5 blocks, as Jackson Jr. will have to fight and claw past the up-and-coming Sengun.
Trae Young OVER 10 Assists - It's too early to have a legitimate discussion regarding the playoff race. However, the Eastern Conference's 10-seed, the Play-In Tournament's final spot, is relatively close. The Atlanta Hawks hold a disappointing 9-13 record, while the Toronto Raptors continue to fall into obscurity at the 9-14 mark. Trae Young is due for a big game, and the flailing Raptors make for a suitable patsy.
Although Young failed to reach the double-digit assists mark in his previous two performances, the two-time All-Star faces a team that gives up 26.6 assists per game, which ranks 20th league-wide. The Raptors lack athletic guards to bother the undersized Young. Look for Young to dish out more than 10 assists on Wednesday night.
Holy Trae Young, this assist was insane... 😱pic.twitter.com/FA9aFDDbtE

Khris Middleton OVER 1.5 3-PT Made - In an underwhelming and, quite frankly, worrisome season, Khris Middleton finds himself as a wild card prop candidate. Typically, Middleton converts above league-average shooting splits. However, in the last two seasons, in which Middleton struggled with injuries, the fall from elite shooting hit the 2021 NBA champion in the face like a stone-cold reality check. Shooting a league-average 36 percent from deep, Middleton converts only 1.4 three-point shots per contest.
However, as mentioned previously, the Pacers' play style encourages high-scoring performances. Although Middleton lost a step due to injury, he still has the potential to torch teams from deep. Against the Pacers in the In-Season Tournament semi-finals, Middleton reached into his bag for a 4-5 three-point shooting night. Perhaps Middleton won't get ultra-efficient shooting numbers on Wednesday, but it's reasonable to infer he will cover the over on 1.5 three-point shots made.
