NBA DFS Prop Picks for PrizePicks: Wednesday, April 27th

Stephen Curry - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

Two games on Wednesday with mirroring Game 5’s. Both series are at 3-1 with the favored team playing the elimination game at home. The Nuggets won the last game on the backs of Monte Morris, Nikola Jokic, and Bones Hyland, but lightning struck once and consistent longevity hasn’t been Denver’s strong suit outside of their star player. It’ll take another dramatic outing from multiple role players to help Jokic drown out the Warriors and win a second game this series, but Golden State’s defense now has the time and patience to let the Nuggets offense take themselves out, much like they have all season. Outside of Jokic, Denver’s production staggers and stumbles from one night to the next and playoffs hasn’t changed much. The Bucks and Bulls have been an entirely different and much sadder story. The Bulls managed to sneak out a Game 2 win, the same way they’ve been winning most of their games this year, through and around DeMar DeRozan. If it takes 41 points from DeRozan and four three-pointers from Vucevic to win a single game, whether Zach LaVine scores 20 or 30 points makes no difference when the team beats you by 20 to 25 anyway. Milwaukee has all but stamped their ticket to the second round, so unless DeRozan and Vucevic do something historic tonight, there’s not much for them to do. Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso are currently out due to COVID-protocol.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, March 1.

.

Jrue Holiday OVER 33.5 Pts-Rebs-Asts – With No Zach LaVine or Alex Caruso, Jrue Holiday went from walking in the rain to bright and sunny days, in terms of matchup and outlook. Even busy with the task of guarding the Bulls’ best guard and being guarded by one of the league’s better defenders, Holiday still put up 26 points with five three-pointers and seven assists. Initially, the under looks just as great with how easily Milwaukee should win this game without the need of their pivotal point guard, but DeRozan has never gone lightly and heading into a game with the mindset of a blowout is exactly what gets you burned on small slates. The Bucks offense works from the outside-in and Holiday’s usage will stay consistent regardless.

Stephen Curry OVER 27.5 Points – When you have the talent of Stephen Curry, playing off the bench can give you a sense of relief or comfort. Using the missed free-throws as my own conspiracy, maybe he was too relaxed. Luckily, not a single person that actually plays basketball cares about missed free throws when you put up a, team-leading, 33 points. It hurts of course, but the whole team-sport aspect somewhat relieves the leading scorer from getting chastised for ‘not scoring enough.’ Maybe hesitate about taking the o/u on his Free-Throws Made but points are points and Curry is scoring them.

Monte Morris OVER 12.5 Points – If you’ve bet on the Nuggets this season, there’s a great chance you’re already familiar with Monte Morris. He’s, easily, Denver’s most consistent two-way guard and Jokic’ most reliable backcourt option. Morris is the perfect bail out, not only because he is willing to shoot, but his aggression makes him a threat in the paint. opening up room for players like Aaron Gordon and Will Barton to play to their strengths. It’s tough when his production is reliant on teammates, and for reference, his 4.5 assist mark is extremely attainable, but the Nuggets outside of Jokic and Morris aren’t trustworthy enough. It’ll be a much smoother ride watching Morris score the ball himself, rather than pass out to teammates who consistently clank the ball off alternating corners of the back iron. His 19.5 Pts-Rebs-Asts is also extremely attainable anytime Morris sees increased usage.

Other Recommendations

  • Giannis Antetokoumpo OVER 31.5 Points
  • Brook Lopez OVER 0.5 Assist
  • Nah’Shon Hyland OVER 10.5 Points
  • Bobby Portis OVER 14.5 Points

Overall recommendation for this play: POWER PLAY
