NBA DFS Prop Picks for PrizePicks: Tuesday, January 4th

The 2021 NBA season is underway and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, January 4th.

Featured Promo: Our friends at PrizePicks are hooking you up. Single Stat NBA Totals

Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day as other props may be added during the day.

Domantas Sabonis OVER 12.5 Rebounds - I start off tonight's recommendations with Domantas Sabonis's rebounds prop. Sabonis hasn't necessarily smashed this number this season, hitting at just a 39% clip. However, he's grabbed at least 13 rebounds in each of his last four games. Indiana will be without starters Malcolm Brogdon and Chris Duarte, and without these two in the lineup, Sabonis has hit this number in two out of a possible two games. While the Knicks' rebound rate is 50%, which is 15th in the league, they allow -0.6 rebounds under the league average. That should be no issue for Sabonis though, who I have projected for 13.8 rebounds tonight.

Russell Westbrook OVER 9.5 Rebounds - While it seems like Westbrook is being "meme'd" nightly on Twitter, he's been rather productive of late. He's grabbed at least ten rebounds in four of his last five and now gets a matchup with Sacramento who comes into this one with a rebound rate of 48.7%, which ranks 25th in the league. They allow +0.3 rebounds over average to point guards this season, and my early projections have Westbrook grabbing 9.7 rebounds tonight.

Harrison Barnes OVER 1.5 Three-Pointers Made - I finish off tonight with Harrison Barnes's three-pointers prop. This is probably my favorite play of the night, as Barnes has been rather consistent on this number, knocking down at least two threes in eight of his last ten, including seven straight. This should be a high-paced matchup, and while the Lakers actually allow -0.25 three-point field goals made under the league average, my early projections have Barnes at 2.3 3PM. Expect Barnes to keep the streak going in a fun matchup tonight.

Other Recommendations - LeBron James OVER 30.5 Points, Fred VanVleet OVER 20.5 Points, Malik Monk OVER 15.5 Points, Tyrese Haliburton OVER 8.5 Assists

Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
