PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, January 17.

Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks

Jusuf Nurkic OVER 9.5 Points - I'll start off tonight's slate with Jusuf Nurkic's rebounds prop. Nurkic has cleared this number in six of his last ten, and five of his last six. He's only cleared this number once in three games against the Nuggets this season, back in October, but I think he does so again as my model projects Nurkic for 12.1 rebounds tonight. It's a tough matchup against Denver, who ranks sixth in rebounds allowed to centers, but we're still getting solid value here.
Tre Jones OVER 6.0 Assists - I'll take a look at Tre Jones's assists prop next. Jones has cleared this number in three of his last five and seven of his last ten. He also logged seven assists against the Nets back on January 2. The Nets rank second in assists allowed to point guards over the course of the season, but that number drops to tenth over the last seven days. My model projects Jones for 8.7 assists tonight, and his recent hit rates show me that this is a solid play.
James Harden OVER 26.5 Points + Rebounds - I'll wrap things up with James Harden's P+R prop. Harden has hit this number in eight of his last ten, and each of his last five. The Clippers rank 14th in points allowed to point guards and 26th in rebounds allowed to point guards over the course of the season, and those numbers drop to 28th for both stats over the last seven days. Harden logged 31 P+R earlier in the season against LA, and my model projects him for 31.4 P+R tonight.
