PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, January 12.

Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks

Spencer Dinwiddie OVER 15.5 Points - I'll start off tonight's slate with Spencer Dinwiddie's points prop. Dinwiddie hasn't cleared this number consistently this season, hitting in just two of his last five and three of his last ten. However, it's worth noting that the Lakers rank 29th in points allowed to point guards over the entire course of the season, as well as the last seven days, and my model has Dinwiddie projected for 19.5 points tonight.
Pascal Siakam OVER 8.5 Rebounds - I'll take a look at Pascal Siakam's rebound number next. Like Dinwiddie, Siakam hasn't been very consistent on this number, clearing 8.5 rebounds in just one of his last five games and four of his last ten. However, the Hornets struggle mightily against the center position and rank dead last in rebounds allowed to centers on the season. They have been a bit better of late, ranking 12th in that category, but my model projects Siakam for 11.4 rebounds tonight, a slight bump above his eight rebounds from Tuesday night against Charlotte.
LaMelo Ball OVER 8.5 Assists - I'll finish things up on the other side of this Raptors-Hornets matchup, with LaMelo Ball's assists. We hit on LaMelo's points prop on the front end of this back-to-back with Toronto on Tuesday. Ball finished with 14 assists on 15 potential assists in that matchup as well. While that potential-to-actual assist efficiency is unlikely to be repeated, it's a positive sign when you also consider that my model projects LaMelo for 11.2 assists tonight.
