The 2023-2024 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power or flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, January 29.
Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks
Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day, as other props may be added during the day.
OG Anunoby UNDER 18.5 Points - Since joining the New York Knicks, OG Anunoby seemingly single-handedly changed the narrative of the typically underestimated franchise. Armed with a championship ring, which commands respect, Anunoby's three-point shooting allows for more spacing in an occasional congested offense. Recently, the 2019 NBA champion scored 26 points on the reigning title holders, the Denver Nuggets.
With the Charlotte Hornets hosting the Knicks, I see Jalen Brunson taking center stage, ultimately leading to Anunoby's points dipping under the 18.5 line.
Kevin Durant OVER 23.5 Points - Seeing Monday's line for points scored by Kevin Durant at a measly 23.5 instantly caught my attention. Despite playing their consecutive road game in a back-to-back sequence, the Phoenix Suns face the worst defensive team of Florida's NBA representatives. Durant scored an underwhelming 15 points against the Orlando Magic last Sunday. While such a number is low for Durant's standards, there is no cause for concern as his teammate Devin Booker averaged a whopping 50 points in the Suns' last three games.
Kevin Durant has become the 10th player all-time to score 28,000 points 🙌

I expect Durant will hit the over, considering the laws of averages going down for Booker and up for the one-time league MVP. Durant averages 26.8 for his career against Miami.
Nikola Jokic OVER 27.5 Points - Typically, I wouldn't feel so confident for a player going against the Milwaukee Bucks. However, the Milwaukee Bucks lack the once-elite defense of their 2021 NBA championship run. Nikola Jokic and company host the Bucks on Monday evening, and I feel more growing pains will show for the team who recently fired their head coach. Doc Rivers is set to make his coaching debut against the Nuggets, which causes concern as Milwaukee's defensive issues, no matter how good Rivers does, won't go away in the first game in his tenure.
Nikola Jokic point total 28.5.

Look for Jokic to cover the over on 27.5 points in light of his recent 30-plus scoring performances in his last five outings against formidable defenses in the Boston Celtics and the Knicks.
Jarrett Allen OVER 1.5 Blocks - Playing against the Los Angeles Clippers, who play their second game in as many nights, the Cleveland Cavaliers have a weapon to combat the All-Star trio. Jarrett Allen is a rim deterrent who will influence the older and possibly winded Los Angeles squad to struggle. Regarding Allen's defensive assignment, Mason Plumlee, not the same athletic specimen in younger years, provides a cushion to collect rejections against an otherwise robust Los Angeles unit.
Recently, Allen recorded two blocks in his contest with the Bucks and rejected three shots against the Atlanta Hawks. I expect Allen to cover the over on 1.5 blocks on Monday night.
