The 2023-2024 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power or flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, February 5.

Kawhi Leonard UNDER 27.5 Points - For all the defensive shortcomings of the Atlanta Hawks, ironically, it's the schedule that saves them from MVP-level Kawhi Leonard. On the second night of a back-to-back sequence, the Los Angeles Clippers face the Atlanta Hawks on Monday evening. While Leonard easily could mow down Atlanta's defenders, it's plausible he takes a backseat, therefore allowing Paul George to up his stats instead. The line is set at 27.5, which Leonard surpassed in three of the last five outings. I suggest taking the under, as the leader of the three-headed Los Angeles monster must cool down eventually.
Kawhi Leonard against the Heat:
25 Points
11 Rebounds
4 Assists
2 Steals
2 Blocks
50/50/100Kawhi Leonard should be one of the favorites to win MVP this season

Austin Reaves OVER 15.5 Points - Austin Reaves is on a heater. Averaging 27 points in his last three games against the likes of the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks speaks volumes at an impressive decibel. Monday evening pits the playoff-hungry Los Angeles Lakers against the just-happy-to-be-here Charlotte Hornets. While Reaves possibly falls short of the 20-point mark, I envision the surging guard to at least cover the over on the 15.5 line.

James Harden UNDER 9.5 Assists - "There is only one basketball," someone once uttered in the dawn of the "super team" era. I have news for you: The Clippers operate just fine sharing one ball despite the multitude of egos in the lineup, with two MVPs, a runner-up, and a multi-time All-NBA talent. Last Sunday, the Clippers took down the Heat with Kawhi as the scoring threat and James Harden as the setup man. In light of Los Angeles undergoing a back-to-back game against the play-in hopeful Hawks, I believe Harden's assist count will simmer down a bit. I suggest tapping the under on 9.5 assists for the Clippers point guard.
Mikal Bridges OVER 3.5 Assists - Although the Brooklyn Nets technically have a better record than the Golden State Warriors, the Western Conference, historically, is a different animal. Furthermore, I see the Warriors playing the Nets close, ultimately turning Bridges into a creator of baskets rather than a scorer. The line is set at 3.5 assists for Bridges, and he's covered the over on such a number twice in his last five performances. I see Bridges getting his bigs involved vs. the Warriors, as Golden State allows its opponents to score 50.7 points in the paint -- ranked in the bottom 13 of the league. Take the over on Bridges for 3.5 assists.
