The 2023-2024 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power or flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, December 18.
Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks
Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day, as other props may be added during the day.
Patrick Williams OVER 10.5 Points - As one of my deep-league streamer picks for Week 9 in the Association, I'm picking Patrick Williams to have a decent showing vs. the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday evening. Although he failed to reach double-digits in the Chicago Bulls' last two of three contests, I feel Williams will receive ample time to cover the over on 10.5 points, even in garbage time, in a possible blowout game at the hands of the Sixers. I think 10.5 points is too low of a line not to take the prop.

Grant Williams UNDER 4.0 Rebounds - In possibly the best game of the evening, the Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets matchup has so many juicy props to pick. While selecting a Luka Doncic and a Nikola Jokic prop seems advantageous, going with a lesser-known and undersized forward feels safer. For all his tenacity and vocal leadership, Grant Williams doesn't rebound the ball. Where does Williams find the space to collect boards in a game featuring Dereck Lively II, Doncic, and Jokic?
Averaging 3.8 rebounds in his last five outings, Williams simply isn't in position or doesn't have the height to secure the ball consistently. Take the under on Williams grabbing four rebounds.
Josh Giddey UNDER 0.5 3-PT Made - For all the Swiss army knife features of Josh Giddey's game, shooting is the one blade, which is not as sharp as the others. Conversely, Giddey recently showcased a stroke from the perimeter in converting at least one three-point shot in four of his last five outings. It seems like a crazy pick, but the thing is, I feel like tonight has Shai Gilgeous-Alexander written all over it as the Oklahoma City Thunder face the Memphis Grizzlies. Cautiously take the under on 0.5 three-point shots as Giddey's shooting streak possibly hits a snag.
Julius Randle UNDER 1.5 3-PT Made - It's East Coast vs. West Coast all over again, as the Los Angeles Lakers host the New York Knicks on Monday night. Aside from the big-market matchup, it's Julius Randle's return to his old stomping grounds in Los Angeles. While Randle has recently had better showings than his early-season production, ultimately, he's shooting 30 percent from the three-point line.
Another wrinkle in Randle's potentially long night comes from Anthony Davis. Although Davis plays center, I infer he'll take the defensive assignment on Randle, making for a monstrous defensive effort over the two-time All-NBA forward. Take the under on 1.5 three-point shots made. Look to secure the cover as clean as Randle obtaining the game ball for Jalen Brunson.
