The 2023-2024 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power or flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, December 8.

Nikola Jokic OVER 52.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists - I'm expecting a massive game from Nikola Jokic on the heels of the disappointing loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on December 6. In that loss, Jokic recorded 22 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists, but he also shot an underwhelming 9-32, mainly missing easy layups.

Denver hosts the Houston Rockets on Friday evening. Fortunately, for those betting the over on Jokic's 52.5 points-rebounds-assists prop, the two-time MVP produced 57 and 65, respectfully, in the past two meetings vs. Houston. Take the over without hesitation.
Victor Wembanyama UNDER 1.5 3-PT Made - We've come a long way from Victor Wembanyama getting touted as a possible rookie-year All-Star candidate. As the famous mantra goes, "Life comes at you fast," and right now, life is zooming like a Ferrari on the highway for the San Antonio Spurs rookie. The "greatest prospect since LeBron James" is shooting a below-league-average 52 true shooting percentage, with an abysmal 26 percent from three-point range.
Although Wembanyama did burn me in the three-point shots made category earlier this season, I believe that outing was a fluke. With that said, take the under on 1.5 three-point shots made.
Dereck Lively II OVER 1.5 Blocked Shots - It's a block party, and once again, Dallas Mavericks starting center Dereck Lively II has hosting duties. While depending on a rookie makes for a problematic team-building ideology, Lively II wildly lives up to the lofty expectations. In his past four outings, the former Duke Blue Devil averaged three blocks per contest.

Dallas plays the lottery-bound Portland Trail Blazers on Friday. With Deandre Ayton listed as doubtful (knee) to suit up, the opportunity for Lively II to dominate bodes high for the otherwise defense-deficient Mavericks. Prepare for the BYOB party (bring your own blocks), brought to you by Lively II. Take the over on 1.5 blocked shots for the Mavs' starting center.
Jayson Tatum OVER 31.5 Points+Assists - The New York Knicks come into Boston Celtics territory on Friday evening, and going by the past two meetings, the latter team comes in rubbing its hands and licking its lips. Winning by a combination of 30 points, the Celtics dominated the Knicks the previous two games. Jayson Tatum averaged 34.5 points, which leads me to believe the three-time All-NBA wing will cover the over 31.5 points-assists prop.
