NBA DFS Picks for Daily Fantasy Basketball on DraftKings and FanDuel (11/7/24)

Giannis Antetokounmpo - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineups

Free daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for today's slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. Use Koby's NBA DFS expert picks to building winning DFS lineups on November 7th, 2024.

Welcome back, Rotoballers! We get a small three-game slate for this fine Thursday evening. It should be s solid set of games including a couple of struggling teams such as the Milwaukee Bucks looking to get back on track against the Utah Jazz, The Portland Trail Blazers going on the road to take on the San Antonio Spurs, and finally, we have the Minnesota Timberwolves taking on the Chicago Bulls.

There are relevant injury situations to monitor as the day goes on (we've got you covered there too in the RotoBaller Discord), and there are some ideas in the article below on how to attack that. A couple of notable injuries to keep an eye on are Giannis Antetkounmpo, Lauri Markanen, Zach LaVine, Jordan Clarkson, and Shaedon Sharpe.

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/7/24. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our excellent NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 8:00 p.m. EST on FanDuel and DraftKings. Good luck, RotoBallers!

Today's NBA DFS Core Picks

Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable to start and if he does play he is an immediate lock as he has one of the highest FPPGs so far this season on the slate. He is dealing with an adductor strain and if he can't go I would immediately plug in Bobby Portis who does extremely well in Giannis's absence.

Anthony Edwards gets a fantastic matchup for his upcoming game against the Bulls. The Bulls are giving up the sixth most fantasy points to opposing SGs this season and there is no one on this slate better than Edwards at that position making him a critical core play.

Keyonte George has had a solid season so far and I think he is a bit underpriced here. He also gets a boost against a Milwaukee backcourt that currently gives up the fourth most FPPG to PGs and second most to SGs. This puts George and Collin Sexton in position to have monster games.

  1. Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL vs UTA ($11,100 DK; $11,500 FD)
  2. Anthony Edwards, MIN at CHI ($9,300 DK; $8,700 FD)
  3. Keyonte George UTA at MIL ($6,400 DK; $6,500 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Value Picks

This is where we talk about saving salary. Whether it's a severely underpriced backup or even as simple as a guy playing like someone who should be priced higher, this is where you'll find guys who make lineups work.

Sorting the best value picks of the day by fantasy points per dollar, let's take a look.

I'm not sure the price for Toumani Camara is doing him justice. He has been averaging 25 FPPG this season and is coming off one of his best performances of the season. He is a solid value on this small slate. Keep an eye on the Shaedon Sharpe news however as it could affect his minutes if he does return to the lineup.

Naz is coming off his best game of the season, and although he hasn't been quite consistent this season he is also the cheapest center on the slate that I would be willing to roster myself. He is worth a shot at only 5.4k on FD and 5.6k on DK if you want to spend up elsewhere and save some money at the center position.

Donte DiVincenzo is still being undervalued this season, he is now coming off his best game of the season on Monday where he finished with 32.5 FP fueled by four STOCKS. Donte will likely be a pretty chalky guard option but he has one of the highest point per dollar amount on the slate.

Top Value Plays:

  1. Toumani Camara, POR vs SAS ($5,100 DK, $5,200 FD)
  2. Naz Reid, MIN at CHI  ($5,600 DK; $5,400 FD)
  3. Donte DiVincenzo, MIN at CHI ($4,900 DK, $5,300 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Picks: Point Guard

The last time I took Damian Lillard he let me down, so take that into account when making your lineups. But he once again gets a solid matchup and has been on an unreal tear. Scoring 47+ FP in three of his last four games. The Jazz are giving up the fourth most fantasy points to opposing PGs this season.

Chris Paul has settled in nicely to his role in San Antonio, scoring 35+ FP in four straight games, and now gets a fantastic matchup against a Blazers team that is giving up the fifth most fantasy points to opposing PGs. He is a solid cheaper option if you aren't looking to spend up with Lillard.

I do want to mention it as a sneaky fourth option. Dalano Banton, across the last three games, has been scoring at a near 2.13 FPPM. His minutes are very low but I could see his production increasing the way he is working into the rotation slowly. He is dirt cheap and isn't a bad option in GPPs if you want to take a shot in the dark.

Top PG Options:

  1. Damian Lillard, MIL vs UTA ($9,500 DK, $8,800 FD)
  2. Chris Paul, SAS vs POR ($6,900 DK, $6,600 FD)
  3. Keyonte George, UTA at MIL ($4,400 DK, $5,100 FD)
  4. Dalano Banton, POR at SAS ($3,500 DK, $4,200 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Picks: Shooting Guard

Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo we talked about already, but how about some Bulls?

like Coby White and Josh Giddey, especially if Zach Lavine continues to be out. If Lavine does play, I'd only play Giddey, who seems to benefit from having Lavine in the lineup. Both Giddey and White have been 31+ FPPG this season, making them both good options on this small slate.

Top SG Options:

  1. Anthony Edwards, MIN at CHI ($9,300 DK; $8,700 FD)
  2. Josh Giddey, CHI vs MIN ($7,400 DK; $7,200 FD)
  3. Donte DiVincenzo, MIN at CHI ($4,900 DK, $5,300 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Picks: Small Forward

Lauri Markanen is looking like he will rejoin the team today which makes him a decent option on this slate. The only thing we have to keep an eye on is if Will Hardy gives Lauri a minute limit. If he is all good to go then Lauri has averaged 30+ FPPG in games he played the entire game this season.

Keldon Johnson has been a solid player when given the minutes. He also gets a great matchup against the Blazers who are giving up the second most fantasy points to opposing SFs this season. He is also affordable at only 5.4k on FD and 5.8k on DK.

Top SF Options:

  1. Lauri Markanen, UTA at MIL ($7,900 DK, $7,600 FD)
  2. Keldon Johnson, SAS vs POR ($5,800 DK, $5,400 FD)
  3. Toumani Camara, POR vs SAS ($5,100 DK, $5,200 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Picks: Power Forward

Julius Randle is a great pair with Anthony Edwards for Minnesota stacks. Julius is in a great position to have a rebound game after a couple of middle-of-the-road games. He is going up against the Bulls 28th ranked defense against PFs this season. He should return to get 30+ minutes and is still been good for 5x his price this season.

Even though Lauri may be back, John Collins should still see solid minutes. He is coming off his best game of the season as he played 30 minutes and finished with 52 FP. He has been an FPPM monster and I will continue to play him at his price until it gets higher.

Top PF Options:

  1. Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL vs UTA ($11,100 DK; $11,500 FD)
  2. Bobby Portis, MIL vs UTA ($6,800 DK; $7,900 FD) (If Giannis doesn't play)
  3. Julius Randle, MIN at CHI ($8,200 DK; $7,400 FD)
  4. John Collins, UTA vs MIL ($6,500 DK; $6,600 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Picks: Center

I'm not Victor's biggest fan mainly because of his price. He is so hard to put into lineups at 10.5k+, but with the occasional 70-piece up there he is hard to avoid. I think he will go lower owned as the Blazers have been tough matchups for centers this season but I would be doing y'all a disservice if I didn't mention him.

On the other side of this game, though, we have Deandre Ayton. He has been Mr. Consistent so far this season. He has a double-double in all but one game and is still sub-7k on FD. He hasn't quite had a boom game yet this season, but Ayton has a solid floor that I like.

Top C Options:

  1. Victor Wembanyama, SAS vs POR ($10,500 DK; $11,400 FD)
  2. Deandre Ayton, POR vs SAS ($7,200 DK; $6,900 FD)
  3. Naz Reid, MIN at CHI  ($5,600 DK; $5,400 FD)

Today's Top NBA DFS Game Stacks

  1. UTA at MIL (o/u 229.5)
  2. MIN at CHI (o/u 226.5)

Today's Top NBA DFS Avoids

This slate is far too small to avoid anyone on this slate. I still think Victor Wembanyama is a bit pricy, especially with a negative matchup against the Blazers but last time I said that he dropped 70 FP so anyone is on the table.

My Favorite NBA DFS Picks for Today

Here is where I leave you with some of my favorites.

  • My favorite overall play on the slate: Anthony Edwards
  • My favorite CASH play on the slate: Giannis Antetokounmpo or Bobby Portis
  • My favorite GPP play on the slate: Julius Randle
  • My favorite value play: Toumani Camara
