Worth the Investment
Eric Bledsoe (PHO, SG) - $8,900
The second highest budget player for Saturday night will- will- provide the highest number for the position. Since the trade deadline, Bledsoe has either made it a point to dominant the guard position in Phoenix or is either a product of his environment. Newly acquired Brandon Knight is not yet with it which means that Bledsoe is still playing the point as well as the scorer. Don’t be afraid to pay up for him.
Zach Randolph (MEM, PF) - $8,200
Memphis may play slow but Minnesota definitely plays fast. Z-Bo has dropped at least 33 FDP over his last seven games and there is no legit defender to stop him Saturday. Seriously though the Timberwolves have given up the fourth most FanDuel points to opposing power forwards over the last twelve games.
Greg Monroe (DET, PF) - $7,600
He is obviously coming off a huge game against an inferior opponent and right now there is no reason to think that there is any defender- (see head coach)- that can even try to defend him. One would almost be dumb to try to go against this ridiculous (terrible) streak that the Wizards are on. It is almost appealing to take nothing but Detroit starters in the DFS lineup. Monroe will get his numbers against the reeling Wizards.
Rudy Gobert (UTA, C) - $6,400
His price will always be intriguing. The guy puts up solid blocks and solid rebounds. What else could you want from him? In an “unrelated” announcement, Gobert is a perfect center for guys who are looking for nothing but blocks and rebounds. Seems like specialists like Gobert are fare and few in these days.
Goran Dragic (Mia, PG) - $6,200
Judging by his comments after he got dealt to Miami, Dragic is ready to prove himself as a legit top guard in the league. Add in that Atlanta has struggled over the last month to defend the back court, and one can see that Dragic is ready to put up solid numbers on a consistent basis.
Top FanDuel Sleepers
James Johnson (TOR, SF) - $4,100
Not only are the Knicks are perfect target, but the swingman position is ripe to pick the Knick position. It is very sweet that Knick defenders attempt to break up the fantasy basketball conversation, but at this point in time New York is not a player.
P.J. Tucker (PHO, SF) - $5,100
If you don’t play Johnson, Tucker plays a solid replacement for not only Johnson, but also the Sun Movement. The Spurs have historically attempted to be solid in all aspects, but recently have not stood up to par to players who are well rounded. Tucker has fit the mold of the later, but more importantly has seen solid number in assists and rebounds over the last eight games.
