NBA DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers - FanDuel Advice for 2/20

All throughout the 2014-15 NBA campaign, RotoBaller will be analyzing the top NBA DFS lineup picks and providing our expert advice for the best sleepers at the guard, forward and center positions. Below are our favorite FanDuel DFS picks for February 20th, 2015.

Keep in mind, fantasy basketball is a fickle game when it comes to injured players, so be sure to check all lineups prior to tip-off. If you want to chat about your roster picks, check out the DFS chat room at the bottom of this post.

Worth the Investment

Eric Bledsoe (SG, PHO) - $8,400

The only playable guard to survive the Phoenix purge should see plenty of minutes and opportunities against the play-with-pace Timberwolves.  Despite Brandon Knight moving to the Suns, expect Bledsoe to take over most of the backcourt duties until Knight can fit into the offense.

Derrick Rose (CHI, PG) - $7,000

The former MVP put up arguably his two best performances of the season prior to the All Star Break.  This could either be a blimp or something that shows he is back on track.  Considering how thin the Pistons are at guard, the latter seems like a more appropriate conclusion- at least for Friday night.

David West (IND, PF) - $6,900

West has quietly been putting up solid value during the month of February as he has hit at least 30 FDP in five of his last six games.  Despite Nerlens Noel playing well in the second half of the season, the Sixers have given up the fifth-most FDP to opposing power forwards over the last ten games.  Expect West to continue that trend.

Khris Middleton (MIL, SF) - $6,600

Denver has consistently been extremely friendly to opposing swingmen this season.  That doesn’t bode well for the Nuggets as they will face Middleton, who has been playing his best as the season gets deeper.  Look for Middleton to be amongst the top plays of the night.

Top Sleepers

Roy Hibbert (IND, C) - $5,800

The optimal FanDuel lineup for Friday night involves more mid-level talent as opposed to the stars and scrubs strategy, so Hibbert is actually among the cheaper options.  Not only has Philadelphia been forgiving to opposing forwards, but centers are also scoring a high number of FDP against the Sixers.  Though Hibbert has struggled for most of the season to match his price, the matchup Friday night is just too juicy.

Jason Smith (NY, PF) - $5,100

It is always a gamble to pick a player from a team that is clearly tanking, but Smith has actually played well since mid-January, averaging 24.9 FDP over his last ten.  Despite Miami’s solid defense and slow offense, most of the offense from the Knicks will have to come from Smith since- as we all know- Carmelo Anthony has been shut down and Amar’e Stoudemire was bought out.
