FanDuel DFS Guards
Russell Westbrook (vs IND, $10,800)
Even after all that time off, this is still not a very surprising pick. Russell Westbrook did not magically transform into a less-than-stellar fantasy option over the All-Star break. Instead, he picked up some much needed rest, and he should be right back at it tonight against the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers are not one of the better defensive teams in the league, and Westbrook is most likely itching to post another triple-double. Prior to the break, he posted over 45 fantasy points in 28 minutes against the New Orleans Pelicans. Look for him to easily glide past 50 tonight.
Jeremy Lin (at MIL, $4,900)
Jeremy Lin is definitely more of a tournament play tonight against the Milwaukee Bucks. His price tag is not all that high, and he can definitely be deployed at under $5,000. In his last game, prior to the All-Star break, he posted 34 fantasy points in 28 minutes against the Indiana Pacers. He contributes in all categories, but his minutes have been too up and down to trust him in 50/50 contests. In the two games prior to that amazing showing against the Pacers, Lin posted under 10 fantasy points twice in a row. Against the Cleveland Cavaliers, a few games ago, he posted over 35 fantasy points in 32 minutes. It all comes down to how much he plays, so roll the dice with this one.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Anthony Davis (vs PHI, $9,800)
This play really should not need much explaining. Anthony Davis gets a fantastic matchup tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers, who are one of the worst defensive teams in the league, and his price tag is under $10,000. However, there is a reason his price tag is so low. He has not been performing all that well so far this season. Injuries have kept him from being a reliable fantasy option. He took some much needed time off over the All-Star break, and he should be ready to go tonight. The Sixers are not going to be able to slow down Davis, but the Pelicans are not good enough to really pull away in this game either. Expect a huge performance from "The Brow."
Jon Leuer (vs HOU, $3,700)
Jon Leuer is worth a look in deeper tournaments. He is projected to play around 20 minutes tonight against the Houston Rockets after only playing a total of 16 minutes in the Phoenix Suns last 10 games. He has good upside, but his consistency is obviously no where to be found. The Houston Rockets are one of the worst defensive teams in the league, especially against opposing power forwards, so if Leuer does see an uptick in minutes, he can definitely produce. However, he is just not trustworthy in 50/50 contests. Save him for the deeper tournaments tonight.
FanDuel DFS Centers
DeMarcus Cousins (vs DEN, $10,600)
DeMarcus Cousins is the best center in the league. He really plays power forward, but FanDuel never changed his position. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Denver Nuggets, who are one of the worst teams in the league against both big man positions. Cousins should be able to lay down the law, and when he does that, he generally posts 50 plus fantasy points. Prior to the All-Star break, he had over 40 fantasy points in four of his last five games, and he also had over 50 fantasy points in two of those last five. Posting over 70 fantasy points in one night is not out of the questions for the Sacramento Kings' stud, so use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
