FanDuel DFS Guards
Kyle Lowry (vs DET, $9,000)
Kyle Lowry recently hurt his wrist, but he did not sit out of the last game the Toronto Raptors played. In fact, he posted over 50 fantasy points in 41 minutes against the New York Knicks. Prior to a little bit of a dry spell, Lowry was posting over 40 fantasy points on a regular basis. It looks like he may have found his groove again. The Detroit Pistons are not going to be able to slow him down, as they struggle heavily on defense, especially against the guard positions. Lowry is rather expensive, but he is not near the price of Stephen Curry. Curry is also going to be sitting out by halftime, as the Warriors play the Sixers. Lowry can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
Norris Cole (vs BKN, $4,700)
Tyreke Evans is questionable to play tonight against the Brooklyn Nets, which means that Norris Cole's value could skyrocket. With both Anthony Davis and Tyreke Evans out against the Sacramento Kings, Cole posted almost 40 fantasy points with 17 points and 10 assists. The Brooklyn Nets are horrible against opposing guard positions, so even if Evans and Davis do play tonight, Cole should at least be able to hit value. He is a great scorer, and he shoots as often as possible. Jrue Holiday is learning how to play next to Cole, and Holiday is actually helping Cole with his assist skills. Use him more so in tournaments, unless Evans does not play. In that case, use Cole in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Myles Turner (vs DEN, $5,100)
Myles Turner is listed as a power forward on FanDuel, and he should be able to dominate the Denver Nuggets tonight. Sure, Anthony Davis (possibly) is going to play, along with Draymond Green and others, but Turner provides the most 'bang for his buck.' He is, or at least did last game, starting for the Indiana Pacers right now, which means that he should see around 25-30 minutes per game. In his last game, against the Atlanta Hawks, he posted almost 30 fantasy points in 26 minutes. Turner has great scoring ability, which he has shown time and time again. The Nuggets are not going to slow Turner down, and Turner should easily hit value. Use him in all formats tonight.
Josh Smith (vs WAS, $4,100)
Josh Smith is another great power forward option tonight, as he faces off against the Washington Wizards. Smith is being utilized heavily in the Houston Rockets' offense, even with Dwight Howard back in the lineup. J-Smoove is playing 25-30 minutes per game, and he is posting similar fantasy points. In his last game, he posted 23.4 fantasy points in 25 minutes against the San Antonio Spurs. Tonight, he should be able to do a bit better against the Washington Wizards. His price tag is definitely too low. DraftKings has raised it to match his current production level, but FanDuel is slacking. Continue to use him in all formats until they get up-to-date.
FanDuel DFS Centers
Marcin Gortat (at HOU, $6,900)
Speaking of the Washington Wizards, Marcin Gortat plays tonight. He is going to face off against the Houston Rockets, who are one of the worst teams in the league against opposing big men, and Josh Smith is only going to make that worse. Gortat has not looked all that great since returning to the court following his hospital visit. He does have over 25 fantasy points in all of his last six games, but that is not good enough. He has over 30 fantasy points in three of those last six games. The great thing about Gortat is his upside. He has the ability to post over 40 fantasy points on any given night. He tends to play well when John Wall plays well. Right now, they are both struggling. I do not expect that to last too long. Use Gortat in tournaments tonight.
