FanDuel DFS Guards
Russell Westbrook (vs HOU, $10,800)
Russell Westbrook is the best guard option on the board tonight, as he plays the Houston Rockets. The Rockets love to push the pace of the game, and they have struggled against opposing point guards so far this season. Westbrook has over 50 fantasy points in two straight games now, and he is posting over 50 fantasy points more often than not currently. He is a triple-double threat every time he steps on the court, and there is no reason to avoid him. He is hitting value, or at least coming very close to hitting value, on a consistent basis, so he can be used in any format. He is great for both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
Archie Goodwin (at NYK, $5,000)
Archie Goodwin did not look great against the Cleveland Cavaliers in his last game, but he should be able to turn things around tonight against the New York Knicks. In three of his last four games, he has over 25 fantasy points, even posting over 40 fantasy points two games ago against the Philadelphia 76ers. Goodwin's price tag is too low right now. Brandon Knight is not scheduled to return for a couple more games, so continue to use Goodwin until that happens. The New York Knicks are horrendous defensively, and it would be surprising to see Goodwin post below 30 fantasy points tonight.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Carmelo Anthony (vs PHO, $8,800)
Speaking of the New York Knicks, Carmelo Anthony is set to return tonight. He has not played a full game since January 22nd, so he should be itching to get back to scoring. Prior to his injury, Melo was posting around 40 fantasy points per game. He was injured a few games before his recent injury. The moral of the story is that Melo is injury prone. However, the Knicks need him back if they are going to win games (not like that matters anyway). He is a great scorer, and he rebounds and assists the ball rather well too. His price tag is not as high as most of the other elite options, so use him in any format. Avoiding him in 50/50 contests does make sense, considering he is returning from injury, but I trust him if he plays. Double check prior to tip-off to make sure he is going to suit up.
Serge Ibaka (vs HOU, $5,800)
Serge Ibaka is definitely more of a tournament play than a 50/50 play tonight against the Houston Rockets. The Rockets are horrendous against opposing big men, but Ibaka is just not consistent. In his last game, against the Minnesota Timberwolves, he only posted 11.3 fantasy points in 25 minutes on the court. However, in the game prior, against the New York Knicks, he posted almost 40 fantasy points in 47 minutes of action. He posts over 30 fantasy points in some games and under 20 fantasy points in others. There is no predicting his fantasy production due to Westbrook and Durant deciding when anyone on the team scores. Do not use him in 50/50 contests, but he makes for a solid risk-reward play in tournaments.
FanDuel DFS Centers
Alex Len (at NYK, $4,800)
Alex Len struggled against the Cleveland Cavaliers in his last game. He posted only 12.8 fantasy points, but prior to that game, he has been extremely solid. In three straight games prior to the Cavaliers debacle he posted over 30 fantasy points. He is a very effective scorer, and he rebounds well enough to double-double. The New York Knicks are not going to be able to slow him down, and Len should be able to score at will. He is way too cheap right now, as the Phoenix Suns are playing him around 30-35 minutes per game. He can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
