Daily fantasy basketball happens to be one of the most predictable fantasy sports that there is. Players generally get the same amount of minutes per game, and they can usually be expected to score, rebound, and assist at around the same ratio.

This makes finding value plays fairly easy. I will provide a top play and a value play at the guard and forward positions. Center is a position that I never really try to find a cheap option at. Pay up at the center position.

Due to this, I'll only provide a top option there. Let's get down to it. Here are my daily fantasy basketball picks for October 31st, 2015.

FanDuel Top Point Guard Pick

Stephen Curry (at NO, $10,400) 

It is going to be difficult to avoid Stephen Curry tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans. The last time these two teams met up, which was the first game of the Warriors' season, Curry had 40 regular points and almost 60 fantasy points. An injured Jrue Holiday and an offensive-minded Ish Smith are not going to be able to slow down Curry. He is going to score points, and he is going to score often. If Anthony Davis decides to actually show up to this game, the Pelicans may keep it close, which will help Curry even more. The pace of this game is going to be very fast, so do not be afraid to pick multiple players from it.

FanDuel Value Point Guard Pick

Ish Smith (vs GS, $3,500) 

Speaking of picking multiple players from the Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Pelicans game, that offensive-minded Ish Smith that is not going to be able to cover Stephen Curry is a great value play on FanDuel tonight. He shoots the ball a lot, and he is going to hit value. Curry is a very good defender, but Smith, simply based on the sheer amount of minutes he is going to play, has to be able to score at least a few points. At such a low price tag, there is no reason to avoid him.

FanDuel Top Forward Pick

Blake Griffin (vs SAC, $10,000)

For the time being, Blake Griffin is going to be my top power forward option this season. Anthony Davis is simply not getting the job done like he did in preseason. I'm sure he will turn it around shortly, but with the way that Griffin has been taking control of the Clippers' offensive production, I will be using him over Davis, especially with a lower price tag. He is scoring over 20 regular points easily, and he is a safe bet for a double-double. He has the upside to play in tournaments, but also the floor to use him in cash games. Do not avoid him tonight against the Sacramento Kings.

FanDuel Value Forward Pick

CJ Miles (vs UTA, $4,900) 

I can't even begin to tell you how many times I have written up CJ Miles today, but I feel obligated to continue to do so. He is going to be in all of my lineups until he proves to be inconsistent. Right now, he is easily hitting 25 fantasy points per game. His price tag does not reflect his fantasy production, and he should easily be able to hit value. With such great consistency, he is a fantastic cash game play. Miles seems like a GPP play because of his reliance on regular points, but that is actually a misconception in fantasy basketball. Relying on points is great for cash games. Relying on blocks, steals, and assists is much more difficult.

FanDuel Top Center Pick

DeMarcus Cousins (at LAC, $10,900)

It really does not matter how high DeMarcus Cousins' price tag gets, I will continue to use him. He is one of the most reliable options in the league for fantasy purposes, but he also has a very high ceiling. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers, who do not defend the center position very well. Cousins against Jordan is going to be a great matchup, and I'm sure both of them are going to dominate as far as fantasy goes. Do not avoid Cousins tonight or you will be sorry.
