With only three games on the docket tonight, your margin for error in roster building will be quite slim. The one silver lining to today's small number of options in comparison to tomorrow's similar one is that there aren't too many injury concerns for tonight. In other words, we shouldn't have to wait until close to tip to hear about the playing status of any starters or key reserves.
Vegas insights? The projected totals certainly wont get your blood flowing. The highest projected total is between the Blazers and Clippers (209), followed by Pistons at Cavs (202) and Hornets at Heat (199).

FanDuel DFS Guards
Kyrie Irving (vs DET, $7,700)
Kyrie enters tonight's play having played great basketball over the past week or so. The St. Patrick High School alum has exceeded his price implied value in three of his last four games, by an impressive margin of more than seven points a contest. He has one of the best matchups among guards this evening, as the Pistons allow a +/- of more than 2.5 points and he comes at a considerable bargain compared to any other point guard.
Chris Paul (vs POR, $9,800)
He's a little expensive for my taste, but nonetheless I think he's the second best option at point guard this evening on this very small slate. Unlike most of the guys I target in this article, he hasn't been too hot of late, but he did pour in a great performance in game one against the Blazers, with 53 FanDuel points on 10-19 from the field and 11 assists. Against one of the poorer point guard defenders in the league (Damian Lillard) and with Blake Griffin back, I'm expecting Paul to throw up another double-double tonight.
JJ Redick (vs POR, $4,500)
Shooting guard is without a doubt the most barren and underwhelming position tonight. That said, it's probably the position that could be a difference maker, both in creating a unique lineup (thanks to all the uncertainty about who is a good play versus who isn't), and due to the fact the scoring at the position is so volatile. I'm going with Redick as I think the Blazers have the poorest defense of the teams going tonight and hes also been able to exceed value in four of his last six contests.
Also Consider: Courtney Lee (at MIA, $3,900) and J.R. Smith (vs DET, $4,600)
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Kevin Love (vs DET, $7,300)
Of all the options at forward tonight, I think Love presents the best combination of value, floor and upside. He's been on fire of late, exceeding value in eight of his last 10 games, by a high average of 5.65 points. Tonight he has a real favorable matchup as the Pistons allow an opponent +/- at power forward of 2.17, second only to Charlotte's 2.79.
Justise Winslow (vs CHR, $3,500)
As is the case with shooting guard, small forward gets pretty tricky fast. Fade the "top" options, LeBron James and Nicolas Batum? It's a tough call. I think you'll have to roster one of the two for their floor, and go with a bit of a flier at the other spot. Winslow gets the call as my flier, seeing as he's a bargain at this price and is playing in the game with the lowest spread, which could push his minutes total over 30.
Also Consider: Tristan Thompson (vs DET, $4,800) and Nicolas Batum (at MIA, $6,900)
FanDuel DFS Centers
Hassan Whiteside (vs CHR, $8,700)
He was an absolute beast in game one and it comes as not much of a surprise as the streaky Whiteside has been hot over the past two weeks. In his past six performances, he's exceeded or met value in five, by an average of more than three points. He has a nice matchup tonight against the Hornets, who allow an opponent +/- of 2.79 and don't really have an answer for him down low or on the glass. He could run into trouble of the Hornets go with a smaller lineup, but his size and strength is too much for Charlotte's interior defenders.
Also Consider: DeAndre Jordan (vs POR, $8,000)
