BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Saves Leagues
OWNED IN: 25% of leagues
ANALYSIS: The Chicago White Sox may have found their guy after going through a closer carousel to start the season. Nate Jones has converted the past two save opportunity for the Sox and it's worth it to assume that they might ride the hot hand here. Joakim Soria is still the White Sox leader in saves, however, he hasn't converted one since April 27. Soria also has given up at least one run in four of his last five relief appearances, with one being a blown save.
Jones has been the White Sox presumed "future closer" for a year or so now, and he might finally have his chance to take hold of the role. After missing most of 2017 and the beginning of 2018 due to nerve surgery, Jones has seemingly gotten his groove back. His 3.50 ERA and 1.22 WHIP are the best among White Sox relievers with 10+ innings pitched and he sports a K/9 over nine. He should continue to draw opportunities and if he doesn't falter, Jones could be a must own in even 10-man leagues. The one drawback is the team he plays for. Opportunities might be few and far between, but sometimes fantasy owners have to take what they can get from closers.
