The NASCAR Xfinity Series heads to Texas on Saturday for the Andy's Frozen Custard 300. Last year, Noah Gragson led 85 of 200 laps to win this race, with Austin Hill finishing second. Eight of the top 10 finishers were playoff drivers.
This is the second race of the Round of 12. Last weekend at Bristol, Justin Allgaier clinched a spot in the next round with a win. Right now, Jeb Burton, Sam Mayer, Parker Kligerman, and Josh Berry sit on the outside of the cut line heading into this race.

Austin Hill - $10,500
Starts Fifth
Austin Hill came up just short of the win in this race last year, finishing second to Noah Gragson. Overall, he's run four Xfinity Series races at this track. In the two that he's run for Richard Childress Racing, he's finished fifth and second.
He's also had some good runs here in the Truck Series, with four top 10s in 10 starts, as well as four more top 20 results. He hasn't broken through with a win at Texas Motor Speedway yet, but he keeps putting himself in a position to win. I expect him to do that again on Saturday afternoon.
Sheldon Creed - $9,100
Starts 24th
Sheldon Creed hasn't run as well at Texas in Xfinity as his RCR teammate Austin Hill, but he did have a top 10 in this race last year, finishing seventh after starting 13th.
Creed rolls off 24th on Saturday. That gives him a lot of place differential upside, especially considering his performance in his most recent intermediate track start, when he finished third at Kansas.
Overall, Creed's finished 12th or better in seven consecutive races, including a pair of runner-up results. He's also got a win here in the Truck Series in 2020, leading 131 of the 152 laps in the process.
Brett Moffitt - $8,100
Starts 22nd
Brett Moffitt has run decently lately, including a seventh-place finish at Kansas earlier this month. He was also 14th at Nashville, showcasing some solid runs for this AM Racing team on intermediate tracks.
Moffitt failed to finish his Xfinity start here last year because of a track bar issue, but he's run solid here in the past. In his first four Xfinity Series starts at Texas Motor Speedway, his worst finish was 16th and his best was eighth. He made those for an Our Motorsport team that, performance-wise, was probably a slight downgrade from his current team.

Layne Riggs - $7,700
Starts 38th
I'm of two minds on Layne Riggs. The bad side is that this is his first Xfinity Series start and $7,700 for a driver who has never run in this series is a little steep.
But then he had an incident in practice and was unable to turn a qualifying lap, leaving him 38th on the starting grid. It's not often you get a Kaulig car starting this far back. Riggs just needs to run a clean race to wind up with a lot of place differential points.
Riggs has made six starts in the Truck Series, posting two top 10s. There's a caveat that those came at short tracks, but he still appears to be a talented—if inexperienced—driver.
Jeb Burton - $7,500
Starts 28th
Jeb Burton needs a good run to keep his playoffs alive. Last week at Bristol, he started just 38th, but managed a solid 13th-place finish. It was a good start to the postseason for Burton, who now has finished in the top 20 in 13 consecutive races.
He rolls off 28th on Saturday, but his recent performance indicates that won't cause much issue. During this 13-race stretch of finishing in the top 10, Burton's started 25th or worse three times. He can get through the field cleanly and manage a top 15 on Saturday.
Anthony Alfredo - $6,500
Starts 33rd
Anthony Alfredo has struggled lately, but I think the place differential upside is too great to pass up with the 78 car starting 33rd. It's his third race in a row to start outside the top 30, and he managed 20-plus fantasy points in the last two just by driving a clean race and gaining places.
This team's obviously seen some falloff in performance after a pretty solid start to the season, but Alfredo can still get you a solid plus-10 or more in place differential. At $6,500, he's worth a shot because of that.
