Parker Kligerman #75 ($10,900)
Starting 35th
The debate here is between Ross Chastain and Parker Kligerman, and Chastain's upside makes him a great pick. I like the lineups you can build with Kligerman more, though. He has two top 10s in five starts this year in the 75 and finished 13th in this race last year. Four of his 38 Truck Series top 10s have come at Bristol, and he's twice gotten top fives at the track, including a fourth place finish in this 75 in 2018.
Kligerman's also likely to be in fewer lineups than Chastain, which can help give you an edge. (You can try playing both, but I hated the lineups I ended up with when I did. Still, I might keep messing around with that some.)
Brett Moffitt #22 ($9,800)
Starting 2nd
Need someone who can be your laps-led dominator? How about Brett Moffitt, who led 65 laps on his way to a victory here last season.
Moffitt has nine top 10s in 11 short track races in this series, with 253 short track laps led. That's an average of 23 laps led per short track race. His average finish on this track type is 6.4.
Basically, Moffitt starting on the front row at a short track feels like some guaranteed points early on in this one.

Sam Mayer #24 ($8,800)
Starting 17th
Mayer has been so good at times in his three 2020 races in this series. He almost one at WWT Raceway, leading 24 laps. But last week was rough, as he finished 19th at Richmond.
But Bristol is somewhere Mayer has experience. He raced here twice in 2019 in the K&N East Series, and won both races. In 300 total laps at the track, he led 163 of them, including EVERY lap in the first race.
This is a racetrack where Mayer won't be at a disadvantage like he was at Richmond. He knows how to wheel his way around here. He's got experience winning. He's got a fast truck. I don't know if Mayer can contend for a victory, but he sure can contend for a top five.
Trevor Bayne #45 ($7,700)
Starting 24th
Bayne's return to NASCAR has not gone well. He has an average finish of 28th in two races in this 45 truck.
But he's run into issues in both of his races and this is still the Niece Motorsports truck that I'd want to bet on most weeks, the one Ty Majeski kept running solid races in.
And Bayne's good here. Two of his 16 top 10s in the Cup Series were at Bristol, as was his first ever non-superspeedway top five. This is the race where we start to see why Bayne is in this truck. He won't have winning speed, but he has a chance to race his way into the back half of the top 10.
Camden Murphy #8 ($6,300)
Starting 36th
Here's the biggest wildcard in this race. Murphy -- who moonlights as a NASCAR driver when he's not doing his other job as a Monster Jam driver -- ran five races in this truck in 2019, and he didn't finish a single one of them. NEMCO just didn't seem devoted to running full races when Murphy was in this truck.
Could he be a start-and-park this week and kill your lineup? Maybe. But NEMCO has severely cut down the number of races they've entered and have run the full thing each time and the 8 truck has a sponsor this week. If Murphy runs the full race, we've got a team that had a top 10 at Charlotte and has finished top 25 in each race its run that starts last. The place differential upside here is extremely good.
Danny Bohn #30 ($6,100)
Starting 27th
Before an electrical issue forced Bohn to retire at Richmond and finish 33rd, he'd finished in the top 20 in his first two races in this 30 truck.
This On Point Motorsports team is one of my favorite mid-pack Truck Series teams because they really, really seem to be trying. Sometimes, the results aren't there. Other times, like Martinsville in 2019 with Bohn in this truck, the results are, as he finished eighth in that race.
Bohn's also finished second here once in the Southern Modifieds, and while the driving style of those cars is hard to compare to the Truck Series, the important thing is that he has prior track experience here. I think this truck should finish top 20 if he keeps it clean, with potential for a top 15 if we get a few crashes.
