NASCAR DFS Prop Picks for 2/20 - PrizePicks

Hello once again everyone!  We head to Daytona International Speedway for the Daytona 500 this week and the first 2022 edition of NASCAR DFS on PrizePicks. Our friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win. As for the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, NASCAR DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks and NASCAR focus on Fantasy Score which has a scoring system where 1st nets 45 points, 2nd is worth 42, 3rd is worth 41, and so on. Every lap led NOW equals an extra 0.25 points. Every fastest clocked lap equals an extra 0.45 points. For NASCAR, we are going to try and focus on the main board's Fantasy Score and see which players may go over or under their projected point totals. Let's see what the board offers today!

Featured Promo: Our friends at PrizePicks are hooking you up. Get a 100% instant deposit match up to $100 using promo code BALLER with your first deposit, and also a free year of RotoBaller Premium access ($99 value)! Fantasy Score Point Totals

Aric Almirola Under 47.5 Points. This week we again swing out during the season opener. Almirola is capable of winning, crashing, anything like most of the drivers. The idea is that 47.5 points just seems way too many. Is his car the fastest? No. Can he lead some laps? Maybe. Will that be enough? Likely not. Take the under.

Chase Elliott Over 27.5 Points. The risk is not that high here. Elliott can charge faster than a lightning bolt even at Daytona. With a couple recent second place finishes on the track, the Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver has a real shot at a top ten. That alone would slam past the over. With the new point structure, hits and misses are going to be pretty spectacular. Also, some props may be like low-hanging fruit. Take the over.

Denny Hamlin Over 54.5 Points. The idea is good enough again here. Hamlin is one of those five or six drivers that has led 10% or more of all laps on this 2.5-mile track. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver is only a little off in terms of the props. Hamlin has strung together a series of solid finishes and two wins in his last six races at Daytona. Add in the fact that he has led 21.27% of the laps and Hamlin is capable of pulling off this lofty point total. Take the over again.

Kyle Larson Over 19.5 Points. The #5 driver won ten times last year en route to the 2021 NASCAR Cup Title. It was his first. The driver does have three top-ten finishes in the previous five appearances at Daytona. Again, the point props are going to be rather low in some cases, this is one of them. Let's go full out and even believe Larson might double this total on Sunday. While he may not win, one never knows with how Hendrick drafted so well with the Next-Gen car on Friday.

Michael McDowell Over 18.5 Points. This is crazy. McDowell won the Daytona 500 last year. Let that sink in. The one type of track he specializes in is the super speedway. The 2.5-mile tracks is solid as he has two top-ten finishes in his last six races with an average finish of 14.33. Again, there is a chance McDowell could crash but also a chance he could hang back enough to finish in the top-20. That is all it takes to go above target. Hit on that over.

Some other drivers to look at:

Christopher Bell (No prop?) -- Bell has potential to surprise everyone but sadly PrizePicks did not have him on the board this week. Hopefully he will next week.

Brad Keselowski (over 23.5 points) -- Sorry everyone again. The Ford could wind up in the top 15 with ease here. Keselowski had great runs in the Duel.

Ricky Stenhouse (under 31.5 points) -- No one would be shocked if Stenhouse crashes out once more. He has a habit of hitting the wall and often.
