Pick 1: Rapidfire Time Pick The Correct Drivers
As promised, we are taking more swings at the RapidFire contest, the past several weeks have been mostly successful so we try to string out three drivers for Saturday night's race.
Kyle Busch has a ton of urgency going into this week as he is near the playoff bubble. It is a position no one wants to be even though there are two races left in this first round of the playoffs. The younger Busch did not do himself any favors at Darlington. He not only crashed out but got fined $50,000 for his actions after the said crash. The No. 18 driver must stay on the track this week and Richmond has been very kind to him with an average finish of 4.33 and two wins in his last six tries.
For Martin Truex Jr., this is the same type of result but a different means story. He did well enough last week staying in and around the top five. The three-race segment here sets up well for Truex Jr. to advance. Expect him to do quite well this week. He has the car to outlast Busch. It will be close, however. The No. 19 has a slightly better build here than the No. 18.
Then, there is the ultimate risk between Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin. Both drivers have some definite success at Richmond. However, the 3/4 mile track has caused both of them some occasional issues. Larson just could not win last week at Darlington even though he tried anything and everything. His move on the last lap nearly resulted in the victory. Now, that was racing! If he carries that into Saturday night's race then he is going to lead a lot of laps and win.
Joey Logano is our pick over Chase Elliott simply because of Logano's past success at Richmond. He loves short-track racing and excels at it more than Elliott.
The No. 5 car is worth a shot always. Larson, Truex Jr., and Logano should keep one in the W column on Saturday night.
RapidFire Picks: Kyle Larson (-0.5), Martin Truex (-1.5), and Joey Logano (-1.5)

Pick 2: More or Less Fantasy Points (2/2)
Recommended Prop Pick: Martin Truex Jr. MORE 18.5 Fantasy Points, Kyle Busch LESS 17.5 Fantasy Points
This prop is a fun one because who knows how this week could turn out. Hell, Kyle Busch could again end up just short of the podium tonight if all goes as expected.
Luck has not been kind lately to either as we said. However, the feeling is Truex Jr. could lead some laps here and enough to finish in the top-five which should equal hitting the MORE. The No. 19 car tends to lead quite a few laps. See the Spring race where he led 107 laps and finished fifth. That equals 10.7 +16 which is greater than 18.5 points. Thank you and you're welcome!
These point totals are intriguing with Kyle Busch. He has been so solid on the track and especially in the summer when he is not crashing into pace cars and looking where he is going. The No. 18 car has two wins in six races at Richmond. If anyone is arguably due for a checkered flag here, it is not the Joe Gibbs Racing driver. When one includes the 4.33 average finish on the 3/4 mile track, the prop gets dicey. However, this is a fun roll of the dice to take (15th place start helps). Take the LESS anyway here.
