Sunday afternoon features the sixth race of the Chase at Charlotte. The Bank Of America ROVAL 400 is raced on the hybrid road and oval course (hence ROVAL). Monkey Knife Fight has an extremely easy fantasy point system: 0.1 points for each lap led and then a set amount of points for their position (20 for 1st place, 19 for 2nd place, 18 for 3rd, and so on).

Pick 1: Rapidfire Time Pick The Correct Drivers
As promised, we are taking more and more swings at the RapidFire contest, now last week was rough and this week is another elimination race, so there could be lots of pitfalls mixed in.
With this weekend's race setting up the Round of 8, Charlotte will give drivers their final chance at right-hand turns. Just win and you're in. Can Chase Elliott or one of the other Hendricks win this week? Will it be a Ford? It does feel like Chase Elliott and the Hendricks have a bit of an edge. The biggest problem is well almost every winner comes from the top 20. Because of "Chase Metrics", all four drivers here are within the top twelve.
The idea that Chase Elliott is giving up 2.5 points to Kyle Larson could be a concern. Neither driver figures to lead as many laps here (only 109). This boils down to the place. If one believes that Elliott can lead 30+ laps, then one has to go with Elliott even with the high-point spread here.
Then, there is the unknown risk between Martin Truex Jr. and Kyle Busch. Both drivers have some mixed results on road courses. However, the ROVAL has caused the younger Busch some more issues and heartbreak. Arguably, Truex Jr. has the upper hand here because of experience and the fact that he has top ten finishing potentials with ease here. Truex Jr. can run well on this track and can even contend against the Hendricks. It comes down to who enjoys the better pit strategy and maintains good downforce. One cannot get loose on this track because it is curtains!
So, it's a risky bet here on both fronts and a bet on the favorites is warranted.
The one time we go even bigger risk and pick Chase Elliot and Martin Truex Jr. for Sunday afternoon.

Pick 2: More or Less Fantasy Points (2/2)
Recommended Prop Pick: Chase Elliott MORE 19.5 Fantasy Points, Kyle Larson LESS 17.5 Fantasy Points
This prop is a fun one because who knows how this week could turn out. Hell, both of these racers should come up close to the podium on Sunday afternoon or be a victim of poor pit strategy.
Luck has not been kind lately to either as we said. However, the feeling is that Elliott and Larson have both been victims of poor pit planning the past few races. As a result, Elliott is on the bubble in the Chase and Larson is now 19 points behind Denny Hamlin in the playoff points battle. Consider that the No. 5 car had such a ridiculous cushion at the start of the playoff. Elliott is expected to charge up to the front at some point. Some props have the No. 9 car leading 35 or more laps.
These point totals are the most intriguing of the bunch we have seen for Sunday's race. Now, the dilemma with Elliott is again pit, pit, and pit. If that can be figured out and Elliott leads enough laps, it won't even matter if he finishes first or second. Why? 30 laps times one-tenth of a point is three points. That is enough of a cushion where the Hendricks car can end up as low as fourth-place and still hit the more. Math is grand, isn't it?
Take the MORE anyway for Elliott especially because of the laps led. Larson may not be the second-best Hendricks however and that is why we are hedging with the LESS for him. The Hendricks cars have raced ridiculously well but did so especially at the Charlotte ROVAL last year.
