BALLER MOVE: Monitor in Deeper Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: Late 2024/Early 2025
ANALYSIS: It remains to be seen if the Atlanta Braves will call up their No. 6 prospect, Nacho Alvarez Jr., at any point this season. MLB Pipeline has Alvarez's estimated arrival to the majors in 2025, but the young shortstop is making a strong case to be up sooner.
Alvarez is currently hitting .291 in the minors this season, and he has been on fire at the Triple-A level since being promoted on June 12. In 16 games so far at Triple-A Gwinnett, the 21-year-old has a .358 average with four home runs, five doubles, and 14 RBI. With the way he is hitting at the plate, there's a chance that Atlanta could call him up sooner than 2025, especially since current Braves shortstop Orlando Arcia is hitting a mere .211 this year.

However, Alvarez does not need to be stashed in most formats in Week 15. He might not make his MLB debut this season, and Atlanta could elect to trade for a shortstop at the deadline instead. So, the 21-year-old should just be monitored in deeper leagues right now.
