Zack Greinke 3.5 Strikeouts (LOWER)
Greinke faces a Tampa Bay team with a 115 wRC+ for the season and 108 for the last 30 days. Versus right-handed pitchers at home, the Rays have a 132 wRC+ for the season and a .206 ISO. Greinke has fanned less than four batters per game, on the road, for the 2023 season. His K rate for the season is 18%. I can't see him doing significant damage against the Rays in Tampa.
Bobby Witt Jr. 7.5 Fantasy Points (LOWER)
Versus right-handed pitchers on the road, for the season, Witt is slashing an anemic .211/.232/.358 with a 27.7% K rate and a 57 wRC+. Zach Eflin has a 25.5% K rate and a 2.9/3.17 FIP/xFIP for the season. In 19.2 innings pitched versus right-handed batters at home in 2023, Eflin has a 2.56/2.69 FIP/xFIP. I don't think Witt, Jr., will be getting a hit, let alone over 7.5 fantasy points.
Luis L. Ortiz 4.0 Strikeouts (LOWER)
Ortiz is facing a Marlins team trending up, with a 111 wRC+ for the last 30 days, up from 94. For the season, Ortiz has a 16.9% K rate with a 4.3 ERA but a 5.08 xFIP. The Marlins have four players with an OPS of over .900 versus right-handed pitchers at home this season. Ortiz is due some dingers, which could happen quickly tonight versus the Marlins.
Bo Bichette 8.5 Fantasy Points (HIGHER)
Bichette is slashing .316/.345/.491 with 11 home runs and 38 RBI against right-handed pitchers in 281 plate appearances. He's going up against James Kaprielian, who has a 19.2% K rate for the season and a 5.82 xFIP. Versus right-handed batters, Kaprielian has an 18% K rate and a 6.21 xFIP. This game could get ugly quickly versus Bichette and the Blue Jays.
Luis Arraez 1.5 Total Bases (HIGHER)
As mentioned, this Marlins team is trending, with a 111 wRC+ for the last 30 days. The Marlins have four players with an OPS of over .900 versus right-handed pitchers at home this season. Versus left-handed hitters at home, Luiz Ortiz has a 6.94 xFIP and a 19.5% K rate. At home, Arraez has a batting average of .404, an on-base percentage of .457, and a slugging percentage of .505. He has also hit two home runs and 25 RBI. He will get to over 1.5 total bases tonight.
TJ Friedl 0.5 Singles (HIGHER)
Cincinnati has a 110 wRC+ and .199 ISO for the season. Smith-Shawver has a 2.03 ERA but a 4.78 xFIP. Versus right-handed pitchers for the season, Friedl is slashing .314/.379/.491 with four home runs, 50 hits, and 25 RBI. I'm expecting at least one single from Friedl, if not a few more.
