Aaron Nola, 7.0 Strikeouts (LOWER)

Aaron Nola has not been especially dominant in the strikeout department this year, carrying the lowest K/9 of his career since his rookie season. In 19 starts this season, Nola has only reached more than seven strikeouts four times. The matchup against the Milwaukee Brewers is juicy because they have the eighth-most strikeouts against right-handed pitching, but seven strikeouts in a big number. Nola could struggle to reach this mark.

Masataka Yoshida, 0.5 Batter Strikeouts (LOWER)

After a slow start to this season, Masataka Yoshida has shown the skills that made him a superstar in Japan. The 30-year-old has a strikeout rate in the 98th percentile, only striking out 10.9% of the time. The Red Sox outfielder also has a Contact% of 84.8%, higher than players like Ronald Acuna Jr. and Freddie Freeman. Yoshida has a keen eye for the ball and has zero strikeouts in eight of his last 11 games.

Dairon Blanco, 0.5 Singles (LOWER)

Kansas City Royals outfielder Dairon Blanco was having a good season in Triple-A, but that success has yet to translate in the majors. In 49 games in Triple-A, Blanco slashed .347/.444/.451 with three home runs and 47 stolen bases. In 21 games with the Royals, Blanco is slashing .188/.250/.333 with zero home runs and a 30.8% strikeout rate. The 30-year-old also faces Tarik Skubal, who has looked dominant since returning from the injured list. Blanco could have a tough time collecting a single.

Tarik Skubal, 5.0 Strikeouts (HIGHER)

Detroit Tigers lefty Tarik Skubal has looked as good as anyone could have hoped for in his two starts since returning from the injured list. In eight innings, Skubal has collected 11 strikeouts while giving up two hits, two walks, and zero earned runs. On Tuesday, Skubal faces a Kansas City Royals who will likely be without Salvador Perez. The Royals also have the ninth-most strikeouts against left-handed pitching this season. Skubal could easily rack up more than five strikeouts in this matchup.

Corey Seager, 0.5 Singles (HIGHER)

Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager has been one of the best pure hitters in baseball this year, and the underlying numbers back it up. Seager has a batting average of .349 with an xBA of .336 and an average exit velocity that ranks in the 99th percentile. The 29-year-old faces Rays rookie Taj Bradley, who has been far from dominant since being recalled from Triple-A. In his two at-bats against Bradley, Seager is batting 1.000 with two RBI. Seager should continue scorching baseballs on Tuesday.

Hunter Brown, 6.0 Hits Allowed (HIGHER)

Houston Astros pitcher Hunter Brown has been a serviceable pitcher this season with a 4.12 ERA and a good K/9 of 10.63. One area that Brown struggles in is allowing hits. Brown has allowed six or more hits in three of his last four starts and has a BABIP of .349. Tuesday's matchup against the Rockies at Coors Field will also be tough because the Rockies have the ninth-most hits against right-handed pitching and the fifth-most hits at home. Brown may get hit around in this matchup.
