What is this, Christmas? Another full day of baseball games! This is GREAAAAAAAATTTTTTT. Pitching seems to be at a premium today, so I will have to recommend that you not pinch any pennies and go with a top guy whom you can bank on getting you a solid amount of points. As always, check the weather and lineups before first pitch...
...which is soooo soooooon!!! You've gotta love day baseball!
Eight Studs for your Daily Lineups on July 25, 2013:
P Mat Latos - One of my favorite pitchers due to his high K rate and his team's ability to put up big runs. The only problem is that he pitches half his games in the Great American Bandbox. Games like today's, where he's in a larger-than-average stadium versus LAD, are where he thrives. Expect 8-10 K with a good chance for the W.
P Justin Verland.... - I can't even finish writing his name. It pains me to write it after he has continually, single-handedly killed me this year. But today, I take a stand... He's getting the White Sox, during the day, where he has a 6 - 2 record with a 2.12 ERA. Today's gotta be the day... right?
1B Chris Davis - He is 1-13 against Guthrie in his career. That was the old Chris Davis though; the new Chris Davis smashes average right handers and I expect A LOT of smashing today!
3B David Wright - A young left-handed pitcher facing lefty-eater David Wright? That makes Wright a very easy pick today at the hot corner. Slot him in and reap the benefits.
SS Cody Ransom - Since becoming a fixture at the top of the Cubs' lineup, Ransom seems to earn his daily fantasy salary nearly every day. He's hitting a cool .375 off of Wade Miley in his career, with two homers and six RBI. Another fairly easy pick here at a nicely discounted price.
OF Alfonso Soriano - I recommended Soriano yesterday, but he got the day off. Today he goes against Wade Miley who has been getting absolutely destroyed at home this season. Miley is also a lefty, and we know that Soriano smashes lefties. There will be a lot of smashing going on in this game, so I would recommend a mini-stack of Cubbies.
OF Junior Lake - Sticking with the Cub there and talk about coming out of nowhere! Since his call up last
week the Lakester has 14 hits in 7 games, 2 homers 3 doubles and a steal. He has also smashed Left handers for a .545 average.

As always, remember to check your MLB daily lineups before they lock and make sure you are doing your own research, too, for optimal performance! The most successful daily leaguers are grinders who are constantly tweaking their lineups as the day goes on and fantasy news gets released. Good luck today, RotoBallers!
