You don't need an expert to tell you to play Jose Abreu tonight against Ricky Nolasco. It is much more difficult, however, to sift through the cheap DFS options for the right value plays that can help you fit in the studs you want and put your lineup over the top.

Today I'll be bringing you seven value hitters for MLB Daily Fantasy Baseball on FanDuel and DraftKings for May 9th, 2016. Let's get started!

DFS Hitters - Lineup Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings

1. David Peralta, OF, Arizona Diamondbacks

FanDuel Price: $4,000, DraftKings Price: $4,700

Be sure to check in on Peralta's status before gametime, as Peralta is dealing with a forearm injury and sat yesterday's game. If he is healthy, he'll hit in the middle of the lineup for the team with the highest implied team total, while playing at Coors Field.

Peralta will be facing Tyler Chatwood, a right-handed pitcher who has struggled against lefties. Peralta, a lefty, has crushed right-handed pitching throughout his career. He's a terrific value on FanDuel.

2. Carlos Gonzalez, OF, Colorado Rockies

FanDuel Price: $3,900, DraftKings Price: $5,000

Gonzalez has cooled off considerably, but he draws a weak right-hander at Coors field tonight.

Last season, Gonzalez posted a ridiculous .482 wOBA at home against righties, along with a .760 slugging percentage and .418 ISO. Only 35.4 percent of Gonzalez's at bats came at home against righties, yet 57.5 percent of his home runs came in that scenario.

The Rockies are projected to score 4.9 runs, which is the second-highest on the slate. CarGo should be a big part of reaching that total.

3. Jake Lamb, 3B, Arizona Diamondbacks

FanDuel Price: $3,400; DraftKings Price: $4,000

Similar to Peralta, Lamb will benefit greatly from the game script tonight against Chatwood in Coors.

Also similar to Peralta, Lamb is a left-hander who crushes righties. Lamb has elevated his wOBA from .252 to .326 against righties, while also raising his slugging percentage and ISO and striking out less.

He'll likely be hitting second in the order and is an excellent way to fit in some of the more expensive players in the Colorado-Arizona game.

4. Mitch Moreland, OF/1B, Texas Rangers

FanDuel Price: $3,300, DraftKings Price: $4,000

Moreland and some of the other Texas bats may go overlooked in this matchup with everyone's attention falling on the Coors game, but the Rangers have the highest implied team total of any team not playing at Coors.

The reason for that total is a matchup against Miguel Gonzalez, who has a career 4.41 SIERA. Moreland has hit righties much better in his career. He should be a big part of Texas reaching their implied total of 4.8 runs.

5. Gregory Polanco, OF, Pittsburgh Pirates

FanDuel Price: $3,200, DraftKings Price: $5,000

Polanco continued his breakout season with his fourth homer of the year yesterday. He has a chance to build on that performance against Dan Straily, who has a career 4.36 SIERA. Vegas has Pittsburgh projected for 4.7 runs, which is the fifth-highest on the slate.

Polanco, a lefty, has posted much improved numbers against right-handed pitching, and should have no problem against a weak righty today.

He's a far better value on FanDuel, where he is a must-play.
