Athletics @ Tigers
More or Less Contest
Tarik Skubal more than 5.5 strikeouts and Cole Irvin less than 4.5 strikeouts
While Oakland is only posting a K rate of 14.6% vs. left-handed pitchers over the previous 10 days, they have faced Nestor Cortes, Marco Gonzales, and Jordan Montgomery in that span and they are not exactly high strikeout pitchers. Skubal has gone over this total in each of his previous three starts while striking out a combined 23 batters across 17 2/3 innings pitched.
The Tigers are posting a K rate of just 15% vs. left-handers over the previous 10 days. Meanwhile, Cole Irvin has failed to get over this total in six of his previous seven starts. He has also faced the Mariners and White Sox in that span, both of which are currently ranked inside the top 10 K rate vs. lefties over the previous 10 days.

Orioles @ Blue Jays
More or Less Contest
Hyun-Jin Ryu less than 5.5 strikeouts and Keegan Akin less than 4.5 strikeouts
Baltimore has been all over the place against left-handed pitchers this season and are currently striking out at a rate of 25.8% over the previous 10 days, That being said, Ryu has failed to go over this total in seven of his previous eight starts. He has also faced the Orioles three times this season and only managed to go over this total once.
Keegan Akin is probably set one strikeout too high on this contest. He has not reached five strikeouts in two of his previous three starts. He will be going up against a struggling Blue Jays squad, but they are still handling their own against left-handed pitchers in terms of K rate as they have the eighth-best rate over the previous 10 days with a rate of just 18.4%. Akin is also listed on several other sites at 3.5 strikeouts, which should lend to the under as well.
