The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props as well as hitter props in which you determine if the pitcher or hitter in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Fantasy Score MLB Totals
Xander Bogaerts over 7.5 fantasy score - Bogaerts has a solid matchup today against Twins' right-hander, Griffin Jax. Jax has been beaten up by right-handed hitters this season as he has allowed a .274 BAA with eight home runs and six doubles in just 27 2/3 innings pitched. Bogaerts has a 1.071 OPS with four home runs across his previous 43 at-bats and has 13 home runs and 24 doubles against right-handed pitchers this season.
Amed Rosario over 6.5 fantasy score - It is great that Rosario continues to fly under the radar and has a prop set this low. He has been a machine lately, posting a 1.405 OPS with two doubles and two home runs across his previous 22 at-bats. He has also posted a .904 OPS against left-handed pitchers this season and that is exactly what he gets in Rangers' left-hander, Taylor Hearn. Hearn has given up eight bombs to right-handed hitters and a .253 BAA across 40 innings pitched.
Bryan Reynolds over 6.0 fantasy score - While I do like the Madbum strikeout prop tonight, Reynolds should still be able to do enough damage to score six fantasy points in this one. Madbum has allowed 10 home runs and 26 doubles to right-handed hitters this season. Reynolds has also hit lefties well as noted by his .940 OPS with 21 extra-base hits across 136 at-bats. He is also 3-for-7 with two doubles in his career against Madbum, so this is certainly worth a look tonight.
Jorge Polanco over 6.0 fantasy score - I like Tanner Houck as much as anyone, but this total for Polanco is too low to ignore. He is raking right now as he has posted a .909 OPS with seven RBI across his previous 22 at-bats. He has also posted an .846 OPS against right-handers in 2021 and has posted an .894 OPS with 14 home runs on the road this season. Houck has been solid, but he has also given up a .270 BAA to lefties with two doubles and a home run in 16 1/3 innings pitched.
Overall Recommendation for this play: FLEX
