Stacking Offenses to Target for DraftKings DFS
Orioles vs Alex Colome
This is Colome’s season debut against a strong, power-hitting team at home in an emotionally charged city. Adam Jones ($4,900), Chris Davis ($5,000) and Manny Machado ($4,800) would all be good plays.
Red Sox RHB vs CC Sabathia
Sabathia is allowing a .345/.374/.500 slash line to righties this season. Hanley Ramirez (see later), Dustin Pedroia ($3,900) and Mookie Betts ($4,400) would be wise plays.
Dodgers LHB vs Rubby De La Rosa
De La Rosa is allowing a .333/.364/.647 slash line to lefties this season. So jump on Adrian Gonzalez ($4,600) and Jimmy Rollins ($3,600). They are definitely worth considering tonight.
DFS Pitchers To Consider for DraftKings
Lance Lynn ($8,300) vs Pirates
Lynn allowed one run over five innings in his first home start and had a 2.50 ERA in 115 home innings last season with a .227 batting average against. He's unnaturally comfortable at Busch Stadium and is worth a start even against a solid Pirates offense.
Tom Koehler ($5,800) vs Phillies
Another strong home starter, Koehler had a 3.00 ERA in 96 innings at Marlins Park last season with just six home runs allowed. With the lineups Philadelphia puts out on a daily basis, Koehler should be a good sleeper play.
DFS Catchers To Consider for DraftKings
Evan Gattis vs Mariners ($3,900)
Against lefties last year, Gattis hit .343/.356/.614 in 70 at bats. In an inviting matchup at home vs. Seattle southpaw Roenis Elias, El Oso Blanco is your catcher play of the day.
DFS Infielders To Consider for DraftKings
Chris Davis - 1B - vs Rays ($5,000)
I'm looking for Baltimore to jump all over Colome, with Davis right in the mix. He's batting .363 with four homers in his last 10 games.
Kendrys Morales - 1B - vs Tigers ($3,900)
Morales is hitting .288 over the last 10 games. The power hasn't been there recently, but he's hitting over .300 on the season in a strong lineup. Take a flier on him.
Howie Kendrick - 2B - vs Diamondbacks ($3,900)
Kendrick is batting .391 this season at Dodger Stadium and is in the perfect spot in a high-powered Los Angeles lineup. He's a strong candidate in this Dodgers stack against Rubby De La Rosa.
Hanley Ramirez - SS/OF - vs Yankees ($5,000)
Sometimes the obvious picks are the right ones. CC Sabathia is allowing a .313 average against his opponents and this matchup against New York in Fenway Park is very appealing for Boston.
Matt Carpenter- 3B- vs Pirates ($4,400)
Carpenter is going to cool down at some point, but he's batting .432 at home. So why not ride the wave one more night?
DFS Outfielders To Consider for DraftKings
Wil Myers vs Rockies ($4,500)
Myers is batting .315 at home and is facing a pitcher in Eddie Butler who's walked as many batters, 13, as he's struck out. Myers has gotten on base and scored with the best of them this season.
Nelson Cruz vs Astros ($5,500)
Away from Safeco Field, Cruz is hitting .429 with seven homers in 35 at bats. Play him in a good hitting park for righties.
Joc Pederson vs Diamondbacks ($4,100)
He's getting more playing time with the injured Dodgers outfielders and is hitting .283 with solid power over his last 10 games. He's also hitting .303 at home so Pederson is a solid bet to produce.
