DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Zac Gallen vs. SF ($9,000 DraftKings; $9,800 FanDuel)
There aren’t many top-tier starting pitching options for this slate, and the ones that are scheduled to take the mound don’t have the greatest of matchups. Let’s focus on Gallen, who threw six hitless innings against the Giants in San Francisco earlier this month. This is an even better spot for him at home, where he has a 2.97 FIP and 1.23 WHIP.

Simeon Woods Richardson vs. MIA ($6,700 DraftKings; $7,600 FanDuel)
Woods Richardson hasn’t logged more than five innings in a start since August 10. Part of that can likely be attributed to his 1.48 WHIP over his last seven outings. As underwhelming as he has been lately, he has a more respectable 1.25 WHIP for the season and is a viable tournament option against a Marlins team that has scored the third-fewest runs in baseball.
Jose Suarez at CWS ($6,000 DraftKings; $5,900 FanDuel)
Suarez has mostly pitched out of the bullpen this season, but he will get this start against the White Sox. He also started in his last appearance, limiting the Astros to one unearned run over five innings. He threw 96 pitches in that outing, so he shouldn’t be that limited Wednesday, if at all. The White Sox have been historically bad offensively this season, so Suarez is at least worth considering.
Also consider: Jack Flaherty vs. SD

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Paul Goldschmidt – 1B, STL vs. Austin Gomber ($5,100 DK; $3,400 FD)
Playing at Coors Field makes Goldschmidt a more appealing option, but so does a matchup versus the lefty Gomber. Right-handed pitchers have held Goldschmidt to a .293 wOBA this year, but he has a .348 wOBA versus lefties. While he hasn’t been as bad as last season, Gomber hasn’t pitched well with his 4.67 ERA and 4.92 FIP.
Brendan Rodgers – 2B, COL vs. Erick Fedde ($4,400 DK; $3,200 FD)
Like many of his teammates on the Rockies, Rodgers has extreme home and road splits. On the road, he has just a .109 ISO and a .247 wOBA. At home, he has a .172 ISO and a .383 wOBA. As good as Fedde has been this season, he’s not exactly an overpowering force with his 20.5% strikeout rate.
Trevor Story – SS, BOS vs. Kevin Gausman ($3,900 DK; $2,900 FD)
Story has been limited to 23 games this season because of injury, but he’s trying to end things on a high note. Over his last 10 games, he is 12-for-36 (.333) with two home runs and three doubles. The one negative during that span was that he had a 36.6% strikeout rate. Still, he could provide value in a matchup with Gausman, who has seen his strikeout rate fall nearly 10 percentage points compared to last season.

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Corbin Carroll – OF, ARI vs. Mason Black ($5,500 DK; $3,900 FD)
After logging a 4.59 ERA and 5.19 FIP at Triple-A this year, Black has a 5.88 ERA and a 5.36 FIP with the Giants. His WHIP checks in at 1.51, which is especially troublesome when you factor in that he has given up 1.9 HR/0. This is a great matchup for Carroll, who has rebounded from a slow start to record a .920 OPS over his last 34 games.
Joc Pederson – OF, ARI vs. Mason Black ($4,600 DK; $3,200 FD)
Staying with the Diamondbacks’ matchup against Black, Pederson is another appealing option. His first season with the team has been a big success, with him posting a .244 ISO and a .393 wOBA. His 12.8% barrel rate is on pace to be the second-highest mark of his career.
Wyatt Langford – OF, TEX vs. Brady Basso ($4,200 DK; $3,200 FD)
After posting a 5.19 ERA and a 5.42 FIP over 67.2 innings at Triple-A, Basso has a 2.33 ERA and a 2.80 FIP across 19.1 innings in the majors. What’s concerning about his Triple-A stats is that he gave up 2.0 HR/9. Although Langford only has a .305 wOBA versus right-handed pitchers, his .351 wOBA versus lefties makes him a viable option for this matchup.
Also consider: Brent Rooker, Adolis Garcia, Jordan Walker
