We have a busier-than-normal Saturday with nine games on the main slate, which is in prime time instead of the afternoon. The Olympics didn't pilfer the MLB talent this time around, so the only things we have to worry about are trades (the deadline is just three days away) and regression. Ask Drew Thorpe about that one.
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on Saturday, July 27, 2024, with the slate starting at 7:05 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Brandon Pfaadt vs. PIT ($8.4K DraftKings; $9.3K FanDuel)
Brandon Pfaadt has been insanely underrated recently. Over his last 5 starts (29.1 IP) he’s only allowed 6 ER making for a 1.82 ERA. Struggled early but turning it on now🔥
pic.twitter.com/8a9A5D2jSK— Overdue Sports (@OverdueSports) July 23, 2024
Pfaadt hasn't allowed a run in 13 innings over his last two starts. The 11 strikeouts are a bit low, but he's priced lower than recent performance suggests he should be. The Pirates are hitting better over the last month or so, but still not well enough to chase me away here. This is still a plus matchup for a pitcher who is running hot to begin with.
Bryan Woo at CWS ($8.3K DraftKings; $9K FanDuel)
Only Seattle is striking out more than the Sox against RHP over the last month. A bloated 27.1% strikeout rate and a miserable wRAA of -31.7 highlight just how badly the White Sox offense is struggling. This is a great spot for Woo. He might even be able to get those strikeout totals back up to where they should be.
Max Meyer at MIL ($7.5K DraftKings; $8.7K FanDuel)
Meyer was brilliant early on before the Marlins sent him down in mid-April to manage his workload. Meyer was limited in his time in the minors and will likely be on some sort of a pitch count down the stretch. Meyer can still do a lot of damage in 5-6 innings. Definitely enough to use him at this price on DraftKings.
Also consider: Shota Imanaga at KC; Seth Lugo vs. CHC; Blake Snell vs. COL

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Ketel Marte – 2B, ARI vs. Marco Gonzales ($5.5K DK; $3.9K FD)
Gonzales has been solid in five starts this year, but leopards don't change their spots. He has a career 4.10 ERA, a high walk rate, and allowed 59 homers over his last two seasons. I'm not fooled.

Meanwhile, Marte has been almost as hot as Lawrence Butler in July. The matchups don't get much better than this.
Tyler Fitzgerald – 2B/SS, SF vs. Ryan Feltner ($4K DK; $2.9K FD)
Fitzgerald has seven homers in the last eight games. This price is an absolute gift, especially against the horrifically bad Colorado bullpen. Ryan Feltner may get Fitz out a couple of times, but he should still have a good game overall.
Tyler Fitzgerald is the first Giants player with 7+ HR in an 8-game span since Barry Bonds in 2004 https://t.co/7WnlWgsVMZ

Nolan Schanuel – 1B, LAA vs. Mitch Spence ($3.6K DK; $2.8K FD)
Schanuel is hitting .348 with a pair of homers, four RBI, and five runs scored. On top of that, Schanuel has walked in four straight games, giving him a little bit of hidden value as well. He is also hitting .316 with two homers and eight RBI in 11 games against Oakland this year. I think he likes the A's. I think I like the price. It's serendipity.
Also consider: Shohei Ohtani, Rafael Devers, Xavier Edwards
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Jarren Duran – OF, BOS vs. Marcus Stroman ($5.8K DK; $3.9K FD)
Duran has followed up his All-Star MVP performance with 12 hits in seven games since the break (not to mention a four-hit outing leading into the break) with three homers and 10 RBI. The price on FanDuel is just ridiculous. He's an automatic play on FanDuel. You have to think about it a little on DraftKings, especially if you're trying to sneak Marte into your lineups, too.

Lawrence Butler – OF, OAK vs. Tyler Anderson ($3.7K DK; $3.4K FD)
Butler hasn't slowed down since the break. He has two homers and nine RBI in seven games. He even stole a base for good measure and he has cut down the strikeouts. Butler has been moved to leadoff with more great results. Butler is going to cool off eventually, but the price is still too low on DK for as well as he has been playing. You can look elsewhere on FD.
Victor Robles – OF, SEA vs. Erick Fedde ($2.8K DK; $2.6K FD)
Robles is one of the few bright spots in the Seattle lineup right now. The Mariners showed Drew Thorpe an early shower last night. Robles has nine hits in the seven games since the break with a homer and four steals. We need to save money somewhere. Robles is a great candidate.
Also consider: Aaron Judge, Brent Rooker, Nick Gordon
