DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Dylan Cease at LAA ($9,800 DraftKings; $10,300 FanDuel)
After recording a 1.42 WHIP with the White Sox last season, Cease has a 0.97 WHIP over his first 12 starts with the Padres. His 3.42 ERA is also much improved from last season, while his FIP is even better at 2.71. Look for him to provide another strong stat line versus an Angels team that ranks inside the bottom half of baseball in both runs scored and OPS.
Logan Gilbert at OAK ($9,200 DraftKings; $10,200 FanDuel)
It’s usually a wise strategy to attack the Athletics’ lineup. They have scored the sixth-fewest runs and struck out the second-most times in baseball. This game will also be played in the Athletics’ pitcher-friendly home park. This sets up nicely for Gilbert, who has already been excellent with a 3.63 FIP and a 1.00 WHIP this season.

Braxton Garrett vs. TB ($7,600 DraftKings; $8,400 FanDuel)
After two rough starts to begin his season, Garrett has combined to allow one run over 14 innings in his last two starts. He was a reliable member of the Marlins rotation last season, posting a 3.66 ERA and a 3.68 FIP. While he doesn’t usually miss a ton of bats with his career 23.2 percent strikeout rate, he could provide added production in that department against a Rays team that has struck out the seventh-most times in baseball.
Also consider: Carlos Rodon vs. MIN, James Paxton at PIT

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Corey Seager – SS, TEX vs. Kenta Maeda ($5,700 DK; $4,000 FD)
When Maeda gets hit, he tends to get hit hard. He already has four starts this season in which he has given up at least five runs. That included an outing against the Rangers in which he allowed six runs (five earned) over 2.2 innings. The Rangers figure to be a popular team to stack, with Seager their best hitter to build a stack around. Over his last 27 games, he is 33-for-102 (.324) with a .676 slugging percentage.
Josh Smith – 3B/SS, TEX vs. Kenta Maeda ($4,000 DK; $2,900 FD)
Smith might not have eye-popping stats, but he is 18-for-60 (.300) with a .364 OBP over his last 16 games. After struggling to the tune of a .287 wOBA last season, he has lowered his strikeout rate to 19.5 percent this year on his way to a .349 wOBA. With how poorly Maeda has pitched, Smith is another member of the Rangers to consider.
Colt Keith – 2B, DET vs. Jose Urena ($2,900 DK; $2,500 FD)
Urena struggled over his 10 starts last year, posting a 6.45 ERA and a 7.28 FIP. After initially working out of the bullpen this year, injuries have forced the Rangers to start him again. Given that he has finished each of the last five seasons with a WHIP of at least 1.48, the Tigers could hang a crooked number in this matchup. With his cheap salary, Keith might be worth the risk in tournament play. He generally does a good job of making contact, posting just a 17.5 percent strikeout rate this year.
Also consider: Marcus Semien, Bobby Witt Jr., Luis Arraez
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Juan Soto - OF, NYY vs. Chris Paddack ($6,200 DK; $4,600 FD)
When Paddack faced the Yankees earlier this season, he allowed 12 hits and five runs over five innings. Paddack has had problems keeping hitters off base, leaving him with a 1.38 WHIP this season. That could spell doom against Soto, who has a .437 wOBA. Soto also has a staggering 59.6 percent hard-hit rate. His salary is pricey, but he could be well worth it.
Riley Greene – OF, DET vs. Jose Urena ($5,300 DK; $3,200 FD)
With 11 home runs, Greene has already matched his total from last season. His walk rate has increased to 12.9 percent, which has helped him record a .353 wOBA. He has been even better on the road, where he has a .233 ISO and a .373 wOBA this season. Greene should be the centerpiece of any Tigers stack.

Matt Vierling – OF/3B, DET vs. Jose Urena ($4,200 DK; $3,100 FD)
Vierling is on pace to set a new career high with his 8.6 percent barrel rate. That has produced a spike in his power production, leaving him with a .204 ISO. Not only has he struggled to keep hitters off base, but Urena has also had difficulties keeping them inside the ballpark. Since the beginning of last season, he has allowed 19 home runs over 90.1 innings.
Also consider: Aaron Judge, Wenceel Perez, Jurickson Profar
