DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Cole Ragans at OAK ($9,800 DraftKings; $10,600 FanDuel)
The Athletics continue to be a team to attack. They have struck out the second-most times in baseball and scored the third-fewest runs. Looking to exploit their weaknesses will be Ragans, who has allowed three or fewer runs in each of his last six starts. During that span, he has recorded 45 strikeouts across 37 innings.
Joe Ryan vs. TB ($9,500 DraftKings; $10,300 FanDuel)
Ryan has logged at least seven innings and allowed two or fewer runs in four of his last five starts. His WHIP is down to 0.94 for the season, and his 3.24 ERA is supported by his 3.55 FIP. His strikeout rate is down a bit, but it’s still good at 26.9 percent. Look for him to exploit a matchup against a Rays team that has struck out the sixth-most times in baseball.
Hunter Brown at CWS ($7,000 DraftKings; $7,800 FanDuel)
After an underwhelming beginning to his season, Brown has logged five straight quality starts. His WHIP sits at 1.43 for the season, but it was 0.84 during that five-game span. This is a great matchup for him to improve his season stats further, considering that the White Sox have scored the fewest runs and have the worst OPS in baseball.
Also consider: Freddy Peralta at LAA, Garrett Crochet vs. HOU

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Freddie Freeman – 1B, LAD vs. Ryan Feltner ($6,400 DK; $4,200 FD)
While his overall numbers certainly aren’t bad, Freeman hasn’t been able to match his stellar production from last season. He has started to heat up, though, hitting 19-for-55 (.345) with a .479 OBP across his last 16 games. Don’t expect Feltner, who has a 1.45 WHIP and an underwhelming 20.2 percent strikeout rate, to be the pitcher to slow him down.
Mark Vientos – 3B, NYM vs. Andrew Heaney ($4,800 DK; $2,900 FD)
Vientos had contact issues last season, posting a 30.5 percent strikeout rate over 65 games with the Mets. He seems to have fixed that this season, recording a 20.5 percent strikeout rate. His improved eye at the plate has helped him produce a .400 wOBA to go along with his .238 ISO. Against left-handed pitchers, he has a .333 ISO and a .492 wOBA. That makes him a viable target for his matchup with Heaney.

Spencer Horwitz – 1B/2B, TOR vs. Brayan Bello ($3,600 DK; $2,500 FD)
Horwitz can hit. Last year, he posted a .337 batting average and a .425 wOBA over 107 games at Triple-A. This year, he hit .335 with a .436 wOBA at the same level. That earned him a promotion to the majors, where he has hit 10-for-30 (.333) with five walks over nine games. Bello has a 1.40 WHIP this season, leaving Horwitz with the potential to provide significant value.
Also consider: Bobby Witt Jr., Maikel Garcia, Rhys Hoskins
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Teoscar Hernandez – OF, LAD vs. Ryan Feltner ($6,000 DK; $4,400 FD)
Going back to the Dodgers facing off against Feltner, Hernandez is another appealing option. After a down campaign with the Mariners, he has bounced back with a .248 ISO and a .358 wOBA with the Dodgers this season. Two of his more encouraging supporting stats are his 16.8 percent barrel rate and 50.3 percent hard-hit rate.

Giancarlo Stanton - OF, NYY vs. Cade Povich ($4,900 DK; $3,300 FD)
It has been a resurgent season for Stanton, who has already hit 17 home runs. While his .337 wOBA is nothing to write home about, it’s significantly better than his .297 wOBA from last season. He has a .211 ISO on the road but has been even better with a .277 ISO at home. That puts him in play for DFS against the inexperienced Povich.
J.D. Martinez – OF, NYM vs. Andrew Heaney ($4,300 DK; $3,400 FD)
The Mets have won seven straight games. During that span, Martinez is 10-for-26 (.385) with three home runs and a .484 OBP. This season, he has crushed left-handed pitchers to the tune of a .234 ISO and a .443 wOBA. He is another member of the Mets to target against Heaney.
Also consider: Juan Soto, Jarren Duran, Starling Marte
