Happy Thursday, RotoBallers! It really is Thirsty Thursday in baseball, as we've only got five games in our primary contests. A mixture of early-season scheduling and not wanting to battle The Masters is likely the cause of our light day of baseball. You can check out all our coverage of golf's first major here.
The main slates begin at 12:20 p.m. EDT when the Mets meet the Braves in Atlanta. The day's final game takes place in Texas when the A's travel to the Rangers. The weather looks rough for Thursday's slate. We will likely get some rain delays in Atlanta and Detroit, plus some strong winds in Kansas City.
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 4/11/2024. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Pablo Lopez at Tigers ($9.8K DraftKings; $9.2K FanDuel)
I'm not sure what Pablo Lopez did to FanDuel, but there's zero chance he should be the fourth-most expensive pitcher on today's slate behind Brady Singer and Freddy Peralta. Regardless, Minnesota's right-handed hurler has an excellent opportunity to bounce back against Detroit after a not-so-great start versus Cleveland last week. The Tigers strike out above league average against RHPs and sit in the bottom 10 for average, slugging percentage, and ISO through the first two weeks of the season.
Jose Quintana at Braves ($6.7K DK; $6.9K FD)
Jose Quintana isn't anything special these days, but the Mets lefty has the potential for a surprisingly excellent start against Atlanta. Through two weeks, the Braves own the fourth-highest strikeout rate (28.3 percent) to left-handed pitchers and sit inside the bottom seven for average, OBP, wOBA, and wRC+. This trend won't last long because Atlanta is one of the best offenses in baseball. However, DFS managers can jump on it early and use it to their advantage on this five-game slate.
Also consider: Tarik Skubal vs. MIN, Freddy Peralta at CIN, Jon Gray vs. OAK

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Ryan Jeffers - C, MIN at Tarik Skubal ($3.9K DK; $2.6K FD)
Through seven games, Ryan Jeffers is slashing a cool .120/.241/.360 for Minnesota. Of the three hits he has this season, two have left the yard for home runs. Fortunately, there's a big reason to play Jeffers in DFS today: he bats high in the order versus LHPs. The Twins have only faced two lefties in 2024, but Jeffers batted second and third, respectively, in both games. A catcher batting that high in any order deserves a look, especially on DraftKings, where you must play one.

Oliver Dunn - 2B/3B, MIL at Nick Martinez ($3.3K DK; $2.6K FD)
After struggling in the series' first two games, Oliver Dunn received Wednesday off. As a result, it's crucial to check Milwaukee's lineup before locking in your lineup. However, if Dunn does get the starting nod, he's likely batting leadoff and is an incredible value. Through 32 at-bats, the left-handed infielder has a .701 OPS with two extra-base hits, three runs, four RBI, and two steals. He's moved up the order and won the leadoff job. Dunn will only stay this cheap for a while, so you should grab him now while he's playing at Great American Ball Park.

Alex Bregman - 3B, HOU at Brady Singer ($4.6K DK; $2.8K FD)
Houston is going through some early-season struggles, but we know this offense will turn it around eventually. They've already scored eight or more runs in three games this year, making Alex Bregman an excellent buy-low candidate. Unfortunately, DraftKings is still pricing him up, but FanDuel gives us the value you love to see. Bregman is starting to heat up at the plate with three of his five extra-base hits and his only multi-hit efforts of the season coming in the previous three games.
Also consider: William Contreras, Jeimer Candelario, Matt Olson, Zack Gelof, Elly De La Cruz
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Adolis Garcia - OF, TEX vs. JP Sears ($5.3K DK; $4.3K FD)
After Ronald Acuna Jr. and Yordan Alvarez, there may be no better break-the-slate option than Adolis Garcia. The Rangers' home-run hitter already has five games with at least 18 points in 2024, adding another one in Wednesday's game. To begin the season, Garcia is hitting .292 with a .944 OPS. Meanwhile, his opponent, JP Sears, sits with an 8.68 ERA and 1.61 WHIP through two games while allowing two home runs in his last start. The Texas outfielder is in a prime spot to do some damage.
Marcell Ozuna - OF, ATL vs. Jose Quintana ($4.8K DK; $3.9K FD)
If you aren't on board with Jose Quintana as your SP2 today, loading up on Atlanta bats is a perfect counter. Marcell Ozuna hasn't missed a beat to begin the 2024 season. Through 10 games, the veteran slugger has eight runs, two doubles, five home runs, and 13 RBI for the Braves. Six of those extra-base hits have come in his previous six games, so he's in the groove. Atlanta has the second-highest implied runs total among the 10 teams on the slate, so beefing up your DFS lineup with a Braves bat will be a popular strategy.
Manuel Margot - OF, MIN at Tarik Skubal ($3.5K DK; $2.2K FD)
Recommending two batters versus the preseason consensus breakout pitcher is usually a recipe for failure. However, that's what a five-game slate makes us do to our DFS lineups. Manuel Margot hit leadoff for Minnesota the last time they faced a lefty (Monday) and batted fifth in Wednesday's lineup. With Max Kepler on the IL, Margot should see plenty of playing time. In Monday's game, the former Ray went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. Anything close to that against Skubal will be a welcome surprise for our DFS lineups.
