Another busy Saturday with a split slate consisting of six afternoon games and nine evening games.
There are no elite starting pitching options on either slate but some terrific options in the second tier which allows for some flexibility with your hitters.
With a few weather concerns in Chicago and Pittsburgh it will be key to check those forecasts before finalizing your lineups on Saturday.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/30/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.
DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel
Detroit Tigers vs. Tyler Duffey
Since being swept at home by the Indians to start their last home stand the Tigers offense has exploded for 33 runs in their last five games. They are getting production up and down the lineup with everyone picking up a hit in last night's 9-2 win over the Twins. They get another solid matchup on Saturday afternoon vs. Tyler Duffey who only made it through four innings in his last outing.
Chicago Cubs Left Handed Power Bats vs. Julio Teheran
Teheran has been punished by left handed bats in his career to the tune of a .350 wOBA against. It has been worse so far in 2016 as he is giving up a .407 wOBA four home runs vs. left handed bats in just 54 at bats. Fire up Dexter Fowler, Jason Heyward, Anthony Rizzo and to a lesser extent Ben Zobrist and Tommy La Stella.
Arizona Diamondbacks Top of the Order vs. Chris Rusin
Great spot for the right handed strong top of the order for the Diamondbacks vs. Chris Rusin making his first start of the year. He isn't going to scare anyone with a sub 6 K/9 and can be prone to giving up the home run despite being a above average ground ball pitcher. Look for the Diamondbacks to take advantage of the mistakes.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel
Jordan Zimmerman (SP, DET) $9,400
There are three good pitchers at the top of the board in the early slate but Zimmerman is the cheapest and has the best matchup. The Twins have struck out over 23% of the time vs. right handed pitching and don't have anywhere near as intimidating offense as the Blue Jays or Giants. Zimmerman has been excellent to start the 2016 season with his new team going 4-0 with .35 ERA.
Wei-Yin Chen (SP, MIA) $8,100
He isn't a name people like to roster which makes him a terrific low owned GPP play Saturday night. He has put together three straight starts of 30+ FanDuel points with 17 strikeouts to four walks but has been a bit unlucky with just one win. He has an attractive price tag that allows for flexibility throughout your lineup.
DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel
Yadier Molina (C, STL) $3,100
The power is all but gone but he is more patient than ever with a 12% walk rate and .333 average to start the 2016 season. He got the night off on Friday so he will be well rested as he looks to extend his hit streak to 11 games.
Albert Pujols (1B, LAA) $3,200
The Angels will get their second crack at a Ranger lefty on Saturday as they face off against Derek Holland. The Angels sit in the top half of the league in hitting vs. left handed pitching and Pujols has only struck out three times in 30 at bats vs. lefties. He has already picked up five HR on the year but has a sub .200 average due to an extremely low .136 BABIP. Positive regression is on its way.
Jed Lowrie (2B, OAK) $2,800
Had an off night on Friday going 0-3 with an RBI after recording a hit in seven straight and 10 of his previous eleven games. He makes a terrific cash game play with 6+ FanDuel points in nine of his last 10 games.
Jean Segura (SS, ARI) $3,500
He has been a spark plug at the top of the Diamondbacks lineup and has as .385 average and .415 wOBA vs. left handed pitching so far this season. He will face Chris Rusin is is making his first start of the season after making four bullpen appearances.
Evan Longoria (3B, TB) $2,800
He has been a lefty killer with a .342 average in 2015 and a .308 average so far in 2016. He gets a juicy matchup vs. J.A. Happ who has been pithcing good to start the year but is due for a regression as he is striking out less than five batters per nine innings.
DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel
Giancarlo Stanton (OF, MIA) $4,800
He should be well rested after routine night off on Friday. He is coming into this game with a five game hit streak where he has clubbed four HR and has double digit FanDuel points in each game.
Dexter Fowler (OF, CHC) $4,100
As mentioned in the stack section the Cubs left handed hitters get a terrific matchup vs. Julio Teheran on Saturday. He has given up a .407 wOBA to lefties with four home runs while struggling with his control. Fowler should get lots of opportunities for fantasy points in this high total game.
Adam Eaton (OF, CWS) $3,200
A very consistent option at the top of the White Sox lineup with 9+ FanDuel points in five straight games. He has an above average OBP(.361) and the speed to steal bags once he gets on base. He is a high floor player who is safe in cash games and can also be considered as a part of a 1-4 stack against Kevin Gausman on Saturday.
