Happy Monday RotoBallers! John, aka 'LucidMedia," back with your MLB betting picks for this Monday, July 5th! We had a good week last week, going 6-2. We look to get back at it today during today's slate of games, and I'm looking at two games I see some value in to get us going into the weekend.
I will be doing these picks for you every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday going forward this baseball season. Just to let you know, I mainly bet on FanDuel Sportsbook, and that's where the odds below will be coming from. Steve Janik (@stevejanik6) will be carrying the free picks on during the week throughout the season with some help from yours truly. And Kipp Heisterman (@kipppsta) brings you the Monkey Knife Fight picks. Let's make some money and have fun. but remember, please gamble responsibly! The RotoBaller team has had a great month of June on the books so far, so let's finish it out strong and make some money!

Milwaukee Brewers @ New York Mets
O/U: 7.5 | Moneyline: NYM +116
MIL: Brandon Woodruff | NYM: Tylor Megill
The Brewers snapped an 11 game winning streak yesterday against the lowly Pirates, getting shut out by Tyler Anderson. While this was a tad frustrating as I had their money line yesterday, it isn't a defining factor of how their next 11 games will go. In fact, we now see them at a discounted price because of it.
There is a total mismatch in pitching in this one today, as Brandon Woodruff (7-3, 1.87 ERA) takes on Tylor Megill (0-0, 4.82 ERA). Megill has been better than his numbers have shown, carrying in a 3.83 xFIP compared to his 4.82 ERA, but over the last 30 days the Brewers have absolutely crushed right-handed pitching, bringing in a .589 wOBA + ISO as a team into this one. It's likely that Woodruff should dominate this matchup, despite the Mets offense turning it up a bit as well. The odds are just too good for this pitching matchup, back Milwaukee.
Pick: Brewers Moneyline (-116), FanDuel Sportsbook
Philadephia Phillies @ Chicago Cubs
O/U: 11.5 | Moneyline: CHC -144
PHI: Matt Moore | CHC: Zach Davies
The Phillies took two of three from San Diego at Citizens Bank Park over the weekend, and now head on the road to Wrigley and take on the Cubs. The Phillies have struggled mightily on the road this year, with a measly 15-26 record away from home. Matt Moore will take the bump for the Phillies and although he was decent his last time out against the Mets, you can't ever say you're confident when Moore takes the ball.
Zach Davies has pitched much better of late, a bad start in Miami a small blip in a stretch of solid starts over the past month. He brings in a 4.45 xFIP over the last 30 days. I'm not expecting him to be great, but I am expecting him to be better than Matt Moore. The Cubs have skidded since Davies' combined no-hitter against LA, but they'll drop under .500 if they lose this one, which I don't see happening. They're a strong 26-13 at home. Back the Cubbies.
Pick: Cubs Moneyline (-144), FanDuel Sportsbook
