BALLER MOVE: Sit in all leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5
ANALYSIS: By the time the New York Jets take the field for Monday Night Football, it will be just weeks away from one year since Mike Williams' ACL tear. It seems certain that he'll suit up for his new team in Week 1. But don't bet on a big game from the former Los Angeles Charger.
Mike Williams available in Week 1, Saleh says. Had a nice day in practice today, with 4/5 catches, per Saleh. So there you have it: Mike Williams will play vs SF. #Jets

Williams only began taking team reps last week. While he'll play against San Francisco, coach Robert Saleh warned that the wideout won't be 100 percent early in the season. Expect Allen Lazard and Xavier Gipson to take snaps from Williams in Week 1.
The Jets also draw one of the best defenses for their kickoff game. The 49ers allowed the third-fewest points and rushing yards last season. They don't roster any household names in their secondary but it will be tough treading for the Jets' offense. The only chance for success will be leaning on Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson.
Mike Williams offers some season-long potential. He's a big-play receiver catching passes from a quarterback who perfected the art of the deep-ball, back-shoulder throw. It'll take some time for him to consistently make those plays. Keep him on fantasy football benches against the 49ers.

The wide receiver position has an advantage over the running back position in PPR scoring formats, typically. Not every WR is like this, though, […]
