Mike Trout lost headlines as the result of Bryce Harper's unbelievable season, but put together a fantastic campaign in his own right. The 24-year-old quieted concerns regarding his escalating strikeouts, lowering his whiff rate by three percent en route to a career-best 41 home runs. Prospective fantasy owners would likely take that number and run, but Trout may actually have room to grow in the homer department, as his .290 ISO last year marked the culmination of a two-year increase. If there is one disappointing aspect of Trout's game from a fantasy perspective, it may be his declining stolen base numbers. Trout swiped just 11 bags in 2015 after posting 49 in his rookie season. When dealing with a player who has the potential to offer elite production in at least five categories, however, complaining about double-digit steals seems like nitpicking. Despite Harper's breakout, Trout remains the No. 1 composite fantasy selection heading into 2016.
