BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 13% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Mike Minor's return to starting has been somewhat of a mixed bag. He's actually improved his control compared to last season's sterling bullpen effort with Kansas City, which has helped him compile a tidy 1.12 WHIP. However, his strikeout rate has taken a huge step back, dropping by nearly nine percentage points. He's also struggled to keep the ball in the yard, hence the uninspiring 4.40 ERA.
He's still worth an add in many formats, though, when you consider his recent performance. In his last 11 turns, the lefty has logged seven quality starts with a 6-2 record, 3.11 ERA, and 0.91 WHIP. A .211 BABIP during that time has certainly helped, but Minor has also done a better job of limiting damage via the long ball. His probable ROS schedule includes the Twins, the Padres at Petco, and a pair of starts against the fading Mariners.
