BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 41% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Seattle Mariners starting pitcher Mike Leake may not be the first choice of a pitcher to stream, but he is still a solid option on a winning team. Leake has allowed three earned runs, or less, in three consecutive appearances and eight of the last nine starts. He has also compiled at least five strikeouts in two of the past three outings.
Leake will be a two start pitcher this week, facing the Angels and Rockies on the road. He has faced the Angels three times this season, going 1-2 with a 4.11 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 15 1/3 innings. For his second start, Leake travels to Colorado. Sufficing to say, a pitcher with less then amazing stuff starting at Coors Field is a recipe for disaster.
While Leake does not the best combination of opponents, he has been a solid pitcher and the Mariners have found a way to get wins with their stellar bullpen. It is a risky proposition to pick up a player for wins, but that makes Leake a good addition in deeper leagues.
