ANALYSIS: It's been a tale of two seasons for tight end Mike Gesicki in Cincinnati. In the five games he's played with wide receiver Tee Higgins, Gesicki has seen just nine targets to finish with eight receptions for 71 yards and zero touchdowns. In the four games he's played with Higgins sidelined, Gesicki has 27 targets good for 22 receptions, 282 yards, and two touchdowns.
The Bengals offense has been sizzling due to quarterback Joe Burrow's outstanding play, and it's kind of been the perfect storm for fantasy since their defense can't stop anybody right now.
Mike Gesicki has established himself as the third best receiving option on the Bengals. He should be treated as WR3 when Higgins is back. He's beating CBs in man coverage and almost exclusively playing from WR positions. Here's every catch he made yesterday. pic.twitter.com/MZeg9C4aXz
