ANALYSIS: Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Mike Foltynewicz has had one rough start this season (allowing six earned runs on May 4th), but other than that, he has been stellar. He has only allowed more than two earned runs in that one horrendous appearance. He is 3-2 with a 3.21 ERA, posting a 1.31 WHIP and striking out 47 batters in 42 innings.
Due to that stinker against the Giants, Foltynewicz’s home ERA is 4.22 (2.18 ERA on the road). Do not let that deter you from his two home starts in Week 7. While the Cubs matchup on May 15 could be difficult, he should crush in his start against Miami on May 20. The Marlins are 30th in team wOBA (.272) against right-handed pitchers and are also 30th in runs scored this season (124 runs in 37 games). Foltynewicz also faced Miami in his last start, pitching five scoreless innings and striking out four batters.
