The NASCAR Cup Series ran the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday and Monday afternoons, and it was Chris Buescher who got his second win a row by holding off a late-charging Martin Truex, Jr.
When it came to Green Flag Speed, several drivers who exited the race early are at the top of the chart. Take those speeds with a grain of salt, though, as this tends to happen when cars wreck out of a race early, as we don't get their true Green Flag Speed that would've happened if they had completed the entire race.
Race-winner, Chris Buescher, ranked 6th-fastest in Green Flag Speed for this race. That was 2nd-fastest among the drivers that did not have any damage from wrecks, behind Martin Truex's Jr.'s No. 19 Toyota, which was 5th-fastest in Green Flag Speed. Christopher Bell, who was 3rd-fastest in Green Flag Speed, got damage to the rear end of his car early but rebounded for a 13th-place finish.
