The FireKeepers Casino 400 was ran at Michigan International Speedway this past Sunday and Monday, and it was Chris Buescher who ended up in victory lane, grabbing his second win this season and his second in a row in the NASCAR Cup Series.
Buescher had the 2nd-best Average Running Position during the race (8.05) behind Martin Truex, Jr's Average Running Position of 6.33. Truex arguably had the fastest car all day but wasn't able to get around Buescher late in the race and had to settle for a 2nd-place finish.
Of the top 5 finishers in the race, Kyle Larson, who ended up with a 5th-place result, had the worst Average Running Position at 12.34, which was 10th-best in the rankings.
