ANALYSIS: Michael Taylor has filled in admirably in center field for the Nationals since Adam Eaton's knee exploded at the end of April. He's hit .294/.329/.557 with 11 home runs and nine stolen bases in his two months as the starter. Taylor's plate approach remains suspect - only six hitters with at least 225 plate appearances have a worse ratio of walks to strikeouts, and only nine have a higher strikeout rate - but he's produced in spite of that. The 26-year-old has been especially excellent in June, with a .287-20-7-18-6 line that puts him firmly in the top 10 fantasy outfielders during that span.
While you certainly shouldn't expect the batting average to hold up, Taylor's category juice makes him a worthwhile play in almost any format. His ownership rate has skyrocketed over the past couple of days, but he's still free for the taking in over half of Yahoo leagues right now.
